This chapter starts with the results of some popularity contest. I was surprised to see Hitsugaya taking the lead, since he ins’t even participating in the current story arc.

Mayuri starts healing Ishida and Renji. Meanwhile, Zaraki continues fighting. It’s really different watching his battle in comparison to the others. That’s because, even if Zaraki is losing, you won’t feel worried at all, because Kenpachi himself isn’t. He’s just enjoying it, and it seems he doesn’t even believe that he may lose.

It’s also good to see some real fighting between two swords for a change, instead of the normal power vs. power battles in Bleach.

Kenpachi finaly pierces Noitra and it seems fatal at first, piercing through his eye and all. But Noitra seems completly anarmed and counters piercing Zaraki in return. Was Zaraki fataly wounded? Kenpachi hasn’t taken his "chakra eating monster" so, there’s still a chance for him to get really powerful, but Noitra hasn’t also released.

Yamato finally gets Naruto back from his Kyuubi state and Sakura begins to treat him despite her own injuries. At the same time, Sai revels Danzou’s plans to Orochimaru. His Danzou trying to make allies with Orochimaru to try and invade Konoha again? Or does Sai have another secret mission beyond this?

Orochimaru, Kabuto and Sai all leave together while Sakura and Yamato explain to Naruto who Danzou his and why Sai is probably betraing them.

The animation was good enouth. I like the drawing style they used when the sword turned into a snake, it reminds of when Gaara was fighting Deidara.

This episode a lot better than the previous ones. The animation wasn’t above average, but at least some parts of Ishida’s fight were done well enough and all the characters were correctly drawn for the most part.

Ishida’s fight was a lot more interesting this episode and actually progressed. Thunderwitch got defeated and the mysterious group of arrancares appeared again. Are they planing to make contact with Ichigo’s group or just cleaning up after them? Maybe the defeated arrancar bodies will be needed for something..

Pesche managed to bring some fun to the episode again.

Sado continues to be beaten up. Ichigo and Sado have been lucky until now, only finding nice enemies. If they got someone truly evil like Noitra, they wouldnt’ have had the opportunities to control their powers or decide if they are going to use bankai, because they would have been instantly killed.

Sado finaly gets a hold of his powers, and revels his right arm true form. Is it strong enough? 

I hope Bleach doesn’t drop it’s quality again. But it will probably go up for the sake of this battles, and Shippuuden’s will go down since the next episodes won’t be action oriented.

As such, I decided to creat a new category and moved the recent Bleach one-shot to that section. 

This chapter starts really cool, showing the thoughts of Szayel as he his pierced for eternity. Mayuri continues talking, how perfection can never be achieved. If perfection was possible, then there would be no point in being a scientist and because you would eventually reach an end in terms of evolution. Mayuri was  actually saying stuff that makes sense.

I wasn’t expecting to see some funny moments involving Mayuri.

After defeating Szayel, Mayuri finds his "Conservation Hall", I’m pretty curious as to what they will find in their, maybe something that explains some previous stuff, like the disappearing of someone.

Kenpachi continues fighting Noitra. It seems they are at the same level in terms of skill, but Kenpachi can’t cut Noitra’s skin. I don’t think Kenpachi accepting anyone’s help or being defeated. So, he probably has some new trick up his sleeve, I hope it’s Shikai..

And another awesome chapter. Some new stuff is revealed. First, Sasuke wants to know about the third Uchiha surviver, because he realizes Itachi wasn’t strong enough to take out all his clan alone. Itachi tells him about Madara. So, Jiraya’s suspicions were true. Itachi also states he is an immortal. Knowing this now, is there still a way for Obito to be fit into the story? Is it just a coincidence that Madara only has one why? Was it just a play from the author to confuse us?

All the fighting that has been going on until now, has all been through Gengutsu. I initially though that Sasuke and Orochimaru could have gotten a way of reaching the Mangekyo Sharingan. But Itachi clearly states Sasuke doesn’t have the same eyes as him. Should Sasuke be so confident in himself?

Itachi also says that once you get the Mangekyo, you start losing your eyesight. Then, how can Madara still have it? Maybe he used Obito’s eye, and that could be the reason for his one-eyed mask. But Obito was also dead a long time ago, maybe Madara is interested in Sasuke, because he wants his eyes?

After this revelations I actually want to see Naruto’s situation right now more than Sasuke’s. Itachi says Madara and found the Sharingan final secret. Is this what allows him to be imortal and control the Kyuubi? I don’t think that the Konoha Platoons will be enouth to fight Tobi now. But we will have to wait and see.
