Itachi has always been one of the more misterious villains I’ve seen in a manga. He killed his entire clan for no apparant good reason and just left his brother alive.
This chapter revels almost everything. The Sharingan truly his a frightening ability, first you have to kill your friends in order to obtain the Mangekyo, then you have to kill your family to prevent yourself from going blind. Everything that Itachi did was in order to obtain Sasuke’s eyes. Will Sasuke be able to kill Itachi? He seems really confident.
Is Madara that powerful? Having the Mangekyo and being considered the best shinobi, but he loses against the first Hokage. Then, he controls the Kyuubi, only because he has the Mangekyo, but the fourth Hokage is strong enough to stop the Kyuubi and seal it. It’s hard to compare strengths in this situation, but all the akatsukis together take several days to extract the Bijuus and the Yondaime sealed the most powerful all alone and in less time.
And what’s the secret behind Kakashi’s Mangekyo? Although, he got it from another person, Obito, he is also losing his sight, he referred this to Itachi earlier in the story. As he isn’t an Uchiha and doesn’t have a brother, he his fated to go blind. Unless Tsunade can maybe use her medical skills to cure that.
I really want to see the Konoha0s platoon fight and what will Pein do from now on. There’s also the fight between Kisame and "Water Guy", sorry, can’t remember the name.
