This is a new kind of post.

I’ll be using it to feature some (in my opinion) noteworthy AMVs. There will be few posts, probably once a month, and I’ll probably be featuring from 2 to 4 AMVs.

If you have any suggestions, or you want to show some of your work please comment and I will check it out.

I’ll start it off with this:

Madness Party. This MAD (Japanese AMV) is done with scans from the Baccano! manga synched to the intro music from Black Lagoon. It’s really well done and almost seems like a real intro to some anime.

Enter Shippuuden. This is my own work. An AMV made to look like an intro to the Shippuuden anime. The music is "Enter The Machine" by Arch Enemy. 

Naruto - [Demon Project]. This one is a real gem. The best AMV I’ve seen from Shippuuden so far. 

Naruto - [Dig Project]. From the same author of the [Demon Project], this AMV is more emotional and features clip from both Naruto series. 

A video recently hit the web. It’s a preview for some kind of new episode of Baccano! But the fact that there is almost no information about this preview and that it is not translated make it hard to know what’s going on.

Baccano! was one of the best series from last year and one of my favorite anime series ever. It’s a really original story with a lot of interesting characters that combines noir with pulpfiction and Jazz. If you haven’t seen this series yet, please do so now. Believe me, it’s the best series out there that you have never heard about.

There are to Baccano! mangas. The first is from 2002, so I suppose it’s the original thing. There’s no scanlations that I can find, so I don’t know if the anime is a portrait of that manga or a free adaptation. The second manga series is from last year and seems to be more related to the anime.

Continuing on the new anime, for what I’ve found, this seems to be a new episode featuring Ghram that was released as an extra in the last volume or a new OVA series. The first is probably the correct one, which is a shame, since I really would have liked a new Baccano! series. The character that the preview shows could also be a young Ladd, there’s no much room for mistake when you seen a smiling face holding a shotgun.

Whatever the plot is about, I can’t wait to see this.

I’m sorry I ever doubted Kenpachi. It’s like he can’t lose, and even if he did, he would always be smiling, like a happy ending.

Ichigo is really in bad shape. Even Inoue can make him stand down. I don’t understand why he still is in his bankai mode.

As Inoue goes to defend Yachiru, she calmly points behind Nnoitra. Kenpachi gets up and gets one of Nnoitra’s arms. But it seems that Nnoitra’s ability allows him to regenerate his arms and make as many as 6 at least.

He uses this ability to surprise and impale Kenpachi.

Is this the end for Kenpachi? 

Sasuke overcame Tsukuyomi with only his will power.

Itachi is tired from the Tsukuyomi, he wasn’t expecting Sasuke to beat it, and Sasuke takes the chance to finaly hit Itachi with shurikens. Now Itachi has no more use for gengutsu.

Does anyone else see some similarity in the way Itachi dodges the shurikens and the way Spider-Man dodges some flying knives in the first movie? 

Itachi his getting weaker than Sasuke and slowly getting cornered, so, he forces Amaterasu, harming his own eye.

Will Sasuke also beat Amaterasu? 

Team Kakashi continues heading for Orochimaru’s hideout.

Inside the hideout, everything is beautifully animated. Most of the sceneries are in 3D and all the characters have very fluid shadows running through them.

Inside Orochimaru’s hideout, Sai makes contact with Sasuke. Sasuke acts as though Sai even isn’t there. Sai acts completly normal in front of Sasuke introducing himself.

Sasuke uses gengutsu on Sai and he starts to talk about Naruto, probably to try and piss Sasuke or just to check his responses to the subject.

Team Kakashi starts infiltrating the hideout and Sai is locked in a room. Sudenly someone opens the door to Sai’s room as he is in the middle of doing something suspicious. Is it Team Kakashi or Kabuto?

There will be no new episode next week. 

I love the way the Espada says "Swollow her hole, Glutoneria!".

The animation was ok, but the real fovus of this episode was Rukia’s feelings. The flashbacks were done nicely and interestingly enough, although some were repeated from past episodes.

Rukia uses a new move that she didn’t have at the time that Kaien was alive. The 3rd dance has the ability to bring back the sword from a broken state.

The next episode will show the progress of several characters.

Berserk has finally returned from hiatus and I’ll start blogging it from the latest chapter.

Also, I apologize for the blog staying inactive for so much time, but I’ll try to get everything up to the latest release as soon as possible.

Now that the 100 pointer transformed again, Gantz’s hunters really seems done for.

Nishi gets attacked by some kind of acid-breathing-air, I didn’t quite understand that, and loses one arm.

Elsewhere, the other big alien seems to be attacked by some kind of giant robot. This robot uses stealth like Gantz’s hunters and his foot also reminds me of Gantz’s clothes. Although, the fact that the soldiers are somewhat surprised but not running away, makes me wonder if this robot belongs to the government.

A new fact is known about the hunts. The area where the hunters are trapped is slowly closing in. As the Tokyo team realizes this, they come in contact with the 100 pointer.

Will they be able to beat him? 

There will be no Gantz chapter in the following week.

Nnoitra accidentally took off Kenpachi’s sealing eye-patch. The increase in Kenpachi’s strength, surpassed by far Nnoitra’s current strength.

But then, Nnoitra, enraged by Kenpachi’s attitude, releases his sword. Now, he has got for harms, more dangerous looking weapons and a much stronger skin that automatically heals.

It’s cool that Kenpachi maintains his "want a hard fight" attitude, unlike Nnoitra who changes from excited to scared.

Zaraki goes at Nnoitra again, but this time, Nnoitra has no problem defending and deals a mortal blow on Kenpachi.

At first, I was just expecting Zaraki to stand up in the next chapter and maybe do some sword releasing. But the ending-chapter message makes me feel like Zaraki is in a really bad shape after being attacked by Nnoitra.

This chapter didn’t have much talk and was all action. 

Wow, Sasuke really does lose on eye, or does he? Sasuke uses the cursed seal to defend the other eye and make Itachi back off. It seems they are still fighting only in gengutsu.

Itachi finally takes advantage of the Mangekyo and uses Tsukuyomi. Surprisingly, Sasuke overcomes that technic with only his normal sharingan. He then states that he can use is hatred to beat Itachi’s Mangekyo and that he is more skilled than him with the sharingan, thus, he can beat the Mangekyou.

Zetsu is still wacthing the fight.

The chapter ends as Itachi gets ready to use Amaterasu. Amaterasu is a goddess of the sun and I have no clue as to what it means as a technic. We can only be certain that it’s more powerful than Tsukuyomi.
