Bleach - Episode 162
Another excellent episode. This series has really grown in quality lately.
Although Ichigo’s fight didn’t have the animation quality of "Ichigo vs Grimjow" or "Naruto vs. Orochimaru", it was one of the most cool and enjoyable fights I’ve seen in anime recently.
Ichigo turns Bankai and gets his mask on. Despite being surprised, Ulquiorra can deflect almost all of his attacks with his bare hands. Ichigo ends up losing in a really bad way, since he doesn’t have any chance of saving Inoue right now, knowing he his the strongest of his group and that he can’t get past the 4th Espada.
Orihime seems to be getting problems of her own.
Renji continues fighting Szayel. He manages to do some surprising moves, but he can’t really hurt Szayel and he quickly gets tired and back to his normal form. The fight, even if just some dodging, was still very enjoyable.
Ishida finds Renji and will now try to defeat Szayel. But, checking from the preview, it seems he will also have some kind of limit to his powers.
