Your Soul’s Family
The chapter starts off with Ed’s escape. It’s very funny how Ed and the two chimeras work between them.
After some shootings and chases, they finally manage to get away. Ed tries to think of where Al would go if they were looking for a place to meet each other. He comes up with the idea to go to one of the old hideouts, the one Gluttony destroyed.
To bad Al is still in Rose’s town. Hohenheim tells all everything. They both talk about their situation, they are similar in a way, both are supposedly immortal. Hohenheim says the tunnel is probably already complete but there’s no worry, because the bad guys are still waiting for the right day. It’s probably an important date, like when the homunculus first broke free or something like that.
Greed is still chasing his old pal. He has no memories of the past Greed. He kills the chimera without hesitating. But, porbably due to his greedy nature, he can’t even forget the past Greed’s memories and they come back. Lee, trapped inside Greed uses this chance to torment him. Greed start losing it, he can’t deal with those feelings.
He gets angry and goes directly to Wrath. He starts attacking him with Pride and his wife near. Pride doesn’t intervene as to not expose his true identity.
Both fight on equal footing but, with the arriving of backup, Greed runs away. He desperatly runs until he reaches tthe hideout Ed is checking.
As soon as he sees Ed, he collapses relieved to see him. He’s Lee again.
The good side gets another powerful allie. Things are looking better.
