The training is progressing. Naruto decides to ask Azuma for help, since he’s also a wind user.

Azuma explains how wind chakra should be manipulated. He uses his chakra blades to explain. It seems they absorb the user’s chakra and react to it’s nature. I wonder the effect they have with different natures and jutsus.

The various scenes taken from the manga are all progressing at a good pace, but there’s some added fillers that complement the story. All in all, I think they are doing good, and the episodes don’t turn boring or stupid with everlasting stares and such.

The filler arc has some new developments. Tsunade thinks it will be good to keep Naruto away on a "safe" mission, while Azuma, one of the village’s jounin, is away. I think this logic is kind of stupid. So, Team Azuma goes to check the destroyed village, Team Yamato goes on a B-rank mission and Kakashi also goes to try to uncover some more information on Akatsuki’s movements.

In the meantime, Naruto has completed the first step of his training. Using his wind chakra to completely cut the leaf. Azuma and Kurenai are also getting some development.

I hope this arc gets some good fight scenes and an interesting plot. For now, the Jinchuriki story is still just a rumor. The bad guys only seem to care about taking revenge on Konoha to help the Fire Country develop. There’s no sign of the boy who appeared first yet.
