The Inheritance

This new series is from Kishimoto Seishi, twin brother of Naruto’s mangaka, better known for creating 666 Satan.

In the close future, mankind has found a new eco-energy system. It’s called Mysticker. They hope this will help Earth prevente damage being caused by the global warming stop polution. Tokyo has been chosen as the subject for experimenting this new energy.

The Mystickers are stickers that have different powers like electricity and fire. This powers can be used by sticking them to an object. 

When I first saw the main character, I though I was actually seing Jio from 666 Satan. But, taking aside the physical similarity they are different characters.

Daichi belongs to a team of Mysticker users. I’m not sure of the true purpose behind this teams. They see another team coming and creating trouble. So they go to help the people being attacked. In the fight Daichi uses a fire sticker on one of enemy’s clothes and they catch fire. This guy later tries to get revenge and sticks an ice sticker directly to Daichi’s skin. But, surprisingly, the sticker doesn’t freeze Daichi’s body and instead sends an "attack" of pointy ice blocks. Daichi’s brother appears and saves them. Seems like is a skilled Mysticker user.

Daichi’s parents dyed when taking a detour to buy a present for Daichi. Daichi thinks it’s his fault and that his brother resents him.

Meanwhile, somebody has been searching for Daichi. This guy sticks the Mystickers in his own skin and then controls it’s powers. He calls himself a Blazer.

Nanba finds Daichi and tries to take him with him, but Ginga comes and protects him. Nanba wins the fight using a sticker that takes Ginga to another dimension. Just before disapearing, Ginga tells Daichi about Blazers and how he tried to protect him from those people. He gives him a rare electricity sticker which never ends and disapears.

Daichi uses this producing a really powerful attack that surprises Nanba and leaves him knocked out.

Then, another new character appears. Kuroki, he’s the one who has helped his brother. Daichi takes his offer to know the truth.

I liked this chapter, but I think some stuff could have been done better. The way everybody just says unnecessary things, in the situation context, like they are purposely explaining it to the reader, because he’s to dumb to understand by itself, gets on my nerves. But, the comedy was good and the fighting mechanics have big potential.

Jio Freed 

I finally read the final chapter of 666 Satan. Franky-House had already scanlated this back in December and I didn’t know.. shame on me..

Miko has been eliminated and the previous program takes control of Shin. It activates the Freedom Program. What’s this?

This new program starts Armageddon again. Satan has taken control and Jio is trapped inside him. Satan is thinking of doing the Armageddon thing and then moving to another planet where he can reign supreme.

The story behind everything is finally explained by Lucifer, Satan. The beings from another planet, Eden, were trying to create eternal energy. Since everything is a continuous cycle of energy created with the Big Bang, then controlling it, would allow them to know everything.

An organization called Solomon was created with 72 scientists. The Kabbalah served as way of storing information into the zephilots. This zephilots eventually changed their appearances matching the kind of information they stored.

Eden was consumed by the Kabbalah and oly the scientists survived. Lucifer tried to obtain the power of the 1st zephilot of the Reverse Kabbalah. He used 666 living beings to avoid being consumed himself, but still lost his body. He then killed all the other scientist except two who were already expecting his actions.

Adam and Eve had created another system for storing information, the Freedom. Lucifer tried to break into it but got sealed inside and Freedom took the form of what is now Jio Freed.

Lucifer tries to take Jio’s body and convince mankind to follow his desires, but Jio is  stronger and delivers a more important message and gets people to follow his will. I think Lucifer did this so that people would unconsciously give him the energy he wanted. But, Jio shows him that real energy comes from good feelings and the relations between people. This was the power that Lucifer was actually looking for.

Jio uses that energy to drive Shin away to a planet that can be consumed without killing any creatures. So, he and the other recipes are gone forever.

The story shifts to the future where Ball and Mei tell their children the story about Jio and Ruby.

So, it’s finally over. I didn’t like this ending very much, but I don’t think it was bad either. Overall it was a really cool series to follow. I’m now curious at to how the anime adaptation will turn out and what’s the author going to work on now. 

Destruction

Yupi, boiling with rage, transforms. As if he was not strong enough, now he’s really powerful. Knuckle’s resolve to beat him right there faded quickly.

Knuckle runs to get Shoot as Yupi completely destroys the building.

After this momentary power-up, Yupi regresses to a weaker form than before. That transformation had it’s disadvantages. Now Knucle sees an opening, but contrary to his thinking, Yupi isn’t at a disadvantage psychologically. He’s calm and rationally thinking of the King’s the best interests. Now, he’s going to deal with the intruders.

I guess his still really strong, but now Knuckle has a chance. The real fight is going to start now.

Zeno finds an unexpected enemy while returning home. The enemy wants to test his new technic, but he fails to see Zeno’s strength and underestimates him. Killua’s father happears and intantly kills him.

What’s he doing there? Is he just going back like Zeno, or will he stay to fight?

Next chapter will certainly focus on Knuckle’s fight. This will probably be a well though battle.

Next Stage

The Akuma is finally destroyed. Komui calls the evacuation off. There’s some color pages to celebrate the 150 chapters mark.

The Akuma explodes and everybody finally feels relieved. Miranda has managed to keep almost everybody underground safe until now. There’s some comedy has everyone checks on each other. Link comes to help Allen.

Tapp, even after turning into a Skull Troop, still has his personality and he’s able to speak before he dies.

The higher ups finally realize the stupidity of fighting between them and cross agrees to tell them everything in return for being able to talk to Allen again.

What will happen now? 

Turn Back The Pendulum 4

Mayuri doesn’t trust Urahara at first, thinking they will just use him. But, Urahara’s true intentions are to make him is right hand man. Mayuri will be helping him and if something happens to Urahara.. he will be the new Captain. So that’s how Mayuri got his place.

And it’s time for a new appearance. Fan favorite Byakuya was already really arrogant as a kid, but he didn’t have the actual ability than enables him to act like he’s in the present. It seems Yoruichi liked to play with him as a friend, but Byakuya probably only saw her as some kind of enemy.

And another one. Kaien is trying to convince his captain of not appointing him as Lieutenant. He was older than Byakuya. This chapters are making the universe of the series seem much more consistent and easier to understand.

Kaien and Ukitake talk about another prodigy kid who has just graduated from the Shnigami Academy. At first I though they were talking about Hitsugaya. But it wouldn’t make sence, because he would have to a lot older now.

They were talking about Gin. Right now, Gin seems pure evil. as a child who must have gone from a lot of difficulties, there’s no wonder. Like Tousen, I though Gin may have some good intentions in joining Aizen, because of his still mysterious story with Matsumoto. But, I find it hard to believe now.

Aizen has set his eyes on Gin and he’s probably already planning on using him later. Is he already plotting the happenings of the present?

Whirlwind

This episode was awesome, much like episode 35. Although it wasn’t action based, the animation was excellent. Naruto finally learns about his wind nature chackra. People can now figure where the "Hurricane Chronicles" came from.

Naruto is so hyped about the new training that he’s been sleeping in Kakashi’s hospital room. Thanks to this, Tsunade lets him leave earlier. It’s time for training.

Kakashi explains Naruto about shape and nature manipulation. So, Naruto’s chackra has an affinity with the wind element. It’s a very good nature to use for battle but, will it be a good match for Sasuke’s fire nature chackra?

Yamato comes at Kakashi’s request. Naruto will be using his mass shadow clones to do a really fast growing training. As he’ll be using a lot of chackra, there’s a chance that the Kyuubi may awaken. Yamato’s here to avoid that.

The episode had a lot of funny moments, the animation and attention to face detail really stood out, and was good paced. How I hope all episodes were like this..

Next week, the training is going to continue and the filler arc will start developing.

The Moment of Conclusion, the End of Grimmjow

Ichigo regains his strenght after hearing Inoue, in a very shonenish yet cool way, and stops Grimjow. He cuts Grimjow hard, but he’s not finished yet. Grimjow seems really determined. He doesn’t believe there’s a chance he can win, and the plot shifts to Grimjow’s past.

A lot of stuff concerning hollow evolution is explained in this episode. How hollows become Adjuchas and other superior forms. For this to happen, an hollow with a very strong ego and resolve is needed. After they become Adjuchas, an hollow must constantly eat other hollows until they evolve, if not, they will regress to Gilian and lose their individual conscience, never being able to evolve again.

Grimjow eventually meets his Adjucha friends of the present, the ones defeated in the real world, and joins them as their king. They eventually realize only Grimjow has the potential to evolve past the Adjuchas Class. Grimjow then eats part of them so that their eolution ends.

Gimjow uses his most powerful attack, but Ichigo beats it and defeats Grimjow. Ichigo has far greater objectives to accomplish than Grimjow. He’s resolve to win is bigger. As Ichigo wins, he helps Grimjow, not letting him fall. Knowing how Grimjow isn’t really interested in following the Espada, is there a chance we will join Ichigo in the future? Even being somewhat evil, so is Mayuri.

The episode ends with Ichigo and Inoue together preparing to go get their friends and return to the human world.

The fillers will start in the next episode. I’m not certain to how this will work now. Following the manga, this episode should have ended with a cliff hanger related to Ichigo and Inoue’s current situation. But, from the preview it seems like there will be some kind of pause in this arc, and the plot will follow Soul Society for a while. This will involve an arc with the new "filler Captain".
