Bleach - Episode 170
Desperate Struggle Under the Moonlit Night,
The Mysterious Assassin and Zanpakutou
The school scene continues. It’s funny enough and the new characters are introduced to Ichigo’s friends. It seems Lurichiyo has a crush on Ichigo.
Suddenly, Lurichiyo’s house is attacked. Once again they leave Ichigo to deal with the attacker.
He’s some kind of trained assassin with some unusual zanpakutou abilities. Taking aside the special abilities, he’s strength is pretty ordinary and Ichigo defeats him without much problem.
When the assassin realizes he has no chance, he purposely gets hit and dies.
Ichigo, Rukia and the others meet with Kenryuu. He explains the situation. They are being targeted by Komoi, who has an important role in their clan. He wants to be the head of the clan but, Lurichiyo is the rightful heir.
The plot is pretty uninteresting but, it will probably change and involve some new elements. At least the OP gives that impression.
I though the episode was nice but there were better that’s for sure and it can certainly improve in the next episode as things are quite open now.

i dont gt why they inserted a filler now, they were just like 20-30 episodes away from being close to the manga, whats the big deal.. now they just completely destroyed the story line…

once they reached the manga, they would have to suddenly stop or just make-up their own story-line.
they started the fillers here, because they probably thought it was the best moment. but, ofcourse, there’s really no good moments for that, and they kind of moved of one place to the other without no explanation. but, as long as the filler is good and they get back to the original, no problema for me
