The Marksman

Everyone starts shooting Naruri. Hope has risen again and everyone starts feeling a little more confident.

Naruri understands what’s happening but, he can’t find the shooter’s whereabouts and starts firing lazers all over place. The city starts blowing up and Kaito is hit while he’s running away. Both of his legs are taken out.

I wouldn’t have guessed Kaito would be out of action so soon, him being the most important character in this situation. Still, Kaito tries to reach to one of the more powerful weapons laying around. One shot of this will surely do great damage and this is the last chance they will get. I’m not sure why but, Kaito can’t fire right away, probably because os his lack of strength right now he can’t aim properly or force his finger to pull the trigger. In the middle of this, Nurari noticies him but, the girl comes back and stands in the way to protect Kaitou. Nurari fires against her, ripping her in half.

I though this time Kaitou’s feelings would help him finish the job but, suddenly, Nurari gets cut in half. For a moment, I though Oka or something was back. It was the vampire. I’m glad they took this chance to kill him, although he probably doesn’t care for Gantz team members.

The preview talks about the great climax. Are the vampires going to explain their part in the story and why all of this is happening? I’m guessing some decent explanations will be given for the first time.. I hope at least.

Everyone’s Struggle

So, Furido wants to destroy the whole village for a good reason, I thought they just wanted Konoha to be invaded and didn’t care to make a good reason for everything that the enemies planed. It’s intelligent that they would kill most of the villagers and shinobis in order to destroy Hokage heritage completely, because just killing the Hokage would make them choose another that would follow the same ideology and nothing would really change.

Naruto continues fighting the girl. The animation is bad. The fight is kind of stupid and pointless. Had this been done by the mangaka, Naruto wouldn’t be constantly receiving little electric shocks that don’t really do anything. I also hate in the fillers when suddenly the characters look like they can’t move anymore like they are supposed to in the manga’s context. Couldn’t Naruto just have used his arm to get back at the roof instead of hanging there until the girl steped on his toes?.

Yamato’s fight made more sense. As for Asuma, I still think he’s not really acting like a Jounin, getting caught in almost every attack even when he has time to counter in some way.

Furido seems really angry at the way Sora’s father used to think. It seems he bears a grudge against his way of trying to unify the Fire Country. This means for sure that Furido probably had something to do with original coup d’etat but, there’s no reference to him in the past for now.

I was getting scared of Sakura with the way she was getting so shaken up because of Gengutsu and stuff like that. Especially after the original story did such a good job of portraying her new way. That’s how she managed to kill one of Akatsuki. Why are the fillers ruining her image now? It was just a dream.. I’m glad lol. It was also a funny moment when Sakura killed her opponent ( I think she killed her). The drawings got real ugly and she seemed like some real powerful super sayan or something lol.

All enemies ended up being defeated in a better way. The last scenes also featured much better animation. The next episode seems to end things. At least it doesn’t look like it will last more than a couple episodes. I hope they get back to the following the manga after this.

The movies previews are looking better and better in terms o fighting and animation.

Also, the Dattebayo sub has a one frame image showing their disliking of people uploading to youtube. I think they did well to stop their fansubs if people continued to not respect their wishes. May this be a lesson to those.

Ants & Dragons

The four guardians have no problem with this minor hollows. The leading Espada sends his four Fraccions to battle them. The numbers of battles happening simultaneously just increased again. I’m really getting hyped. I just hope Cubo can pace the story well.

This Fraccions all looked weird in their own way. A religion fanatic, a cooky one, a beauty obsessed one (probably gay too) and a stupid one.

The most interesting dialog for me, came from Kira. This character’s psychological problems regarding Gin betraying Soul Society haven’t been addressed properly.

The fillers have already meddled in this and the current arc is also using his character as a main one but, seeing his pissed off look, like he’s finally feeling rage and not pity for himself was cool. I hope he kicks some serious ass and has a chance to do something to Gin himself.

I don’t think there will be any battles in the next chapter, because some more duels have to be decided. The Vaizard are probably only going to intervene if Soul Society really needs help or if Aizen comes out of his "prison".

Things are getting more and more interesting. I can’t wait.

The Battle Of Thunder-Cloud Gorge

Sasuke forms a simple strategy and Hawk advances to capture the eight-tails. Suigetsu gets all pumped-up and automatically goes for the kill. The scenery gets trashed and Juugo complains about needing the jinchuriki alive. The jinchuriki blocks Suigetsus sword, he seems really strong. He’s rapping while he battles.

Suigetsu is acting a little hot-headed, just like Naruto uses to be. Juugo can advises Suigetsu to get back but, it’s too late, the jinchuriki disarms Suigetsu sending his sword flying. Are they up to the challenge? We shift to Naruto’s story.

It seems the "die" part was just Gamakichi’s way of making Naruto understand hard concepts, it seems he did the contrary this time lol.

The way Naruto is going to train by not moving hasn’t been fully explained but, for now, Naruto will use an oil that allows his body easier access to nature’s chakra. He’ll do this until he’s able to feel this chakra.

There’s a little disadvantage. He can turn into a frog if he doesn’t get all of his chakras in harmony. Luckily, there’s a stick made just for preventing that lol.

Even Jiraya couldn’t master this technique, that’s why he got real ugly when he used it.

I’m guessing won’t fully master this technique normally, seeing how he always had trouble leading with chakra. But, maybe he will create an original way of dealing with this, just like he did with the rasengan.

We shift back to Sasuke. Juugo is down. Suigetsu is amazed at how well he used his sword. It’s no wonder since the jinchuriki probably his a master with swords. Although, if ever uses the 8 swords, it’s when he get into bijuu mode. Being an octopus, it could mean he forms chakra arms to use the swords, just like Naruto uses his chakra.

It seems Sasuke has only been watching. Has he managed to get a way to capture him? He’s going to be attacking now. Can’t wait for the next one.

The Souls Revived from Hell

Zombies appearing in Naruto.. it really makes it seems like the fillers have hit rock bottom with new ideas. Still, this could have been done right. Animes like Tokyo Majin have already made cool action scenes with zombies. This arc also uses most of the characters. Some of them have already seen some action in the manga. The animators could have used some of their techniques without spoiling much for the future but, they chose to do crappy taijutsu scenes.

The attackers really did a jutsu similar to the one Orochimaru used and brought the old Guardians to life. I’m not sure but, it seems the ones brought back were the ones who fought besides Asuma and Chiriku. They were probably the ones who did that lightning jutsu that we saw in the flashback.

The enemy shinobi summoned them so that they used the most powerful known lighting jutsu. The four of them combined make this jutsu capable of blowing all of the village.

Naruto continues following Sora and finally learns the truth. It really seemed old when he said "I understand your loneliness". Naruto has been doing this since forever. The main story has already moved to other subjects, why must the fillers still deal with this?

Anyway, Sora runs away troubled and Naruto is left to fight the multi-chakra girl. Will he find out her secret this time? I can only make up that she must be using gengutsu or comes from some special clan that no one ever heard about and can really use all the normal elements.

The fight scene with Asuma is really crappy. I hope some of the next episodes are better done. Because it really seems like they decided to give the worst treatment to the most important part of this arc.

Sakura and Yamato also meet their old rivals. Shikamaru will probably form a new team now to go deal with the lighting users.

The next episode seems to be a little better. Also, the movie seems incredible in the animation department as always, I just hope they improve the rest as well.

Hints

The 14th and Mana lived as fugitives after their failed attempt to kill the Earl. The 14th probably chose Allen just because of chance. Allen his becoming desolated more and more. Now, he questions if Mana ever loved him or just cared for him because he was the host.

Cross tells him that as much as he knows, he thinks Mana really liked Allen for himself and not the 14th. Anyway, the thing I didn’t quite understand is why Cross told Allen that he would have to kill the ones he loves.

Does this mean that the 14th will turn on the order? Wouldn’t it be smart of him to allie with the order? Since they are both out to kill the Earl.

And Cross asks him "What would you do?" Is he saying this so that Allen tries to fight the 14th and still get his powers and memories but, retain his cousciousness? Maybe Allen can chose to become him or not but, maybe if chooses not to, he won’t have the 14th’s knowledge.

One-Shot
Death Note

This one-shot takes place 3 years after the Light’s death. The public doesn’t know L’s and Kira’s death.

A new "Kira" appears. He only kills old people in terminal states that want to die or that their families want them to die, like some sort of euthanasia.

All the characters reappear. Matsuda maintains his open-minded spirit towards the use of the death notes.

It seems that Riuk’s actions in the human and the fact that he took human apples to the shinigami world are making other shinigamis interested in the human world, like it it happened to Rem. The shinigami who took the death note this time is called Midra.

It’s cool that Near recognizes both L’s and Light’s intellect as really intelligent people. 

This chapter also shows that Light must really have been someone strong-minded in order to use the death note. Since the one now could bare realizing that he was actually a murderer.

I think the true objective of this one-shot was to show the development of Near ’s character and how he tries to imitate and follow the original L’s personality. I personally  don’t like the way Near is thinking, because he could probably catch this new "Kira" quickly and put an end to the killings. But, on another point, this "Kira" is probably a dumb person only trying to imitate Kira, and he probably won’t pose much difficult to the Japanese police, since they already know about death notes.

There was also a nice poster as an extra.

Training Camp

There’s mixed reactions to Ageha staying with Elmore. The old lady accepts and and asks her children to teach him Burst Stream.

The one who ends up truly helping him is Shao. We still don’t know the nature of his destruction PSI. He teaches Ageha that he has to let his psi flow around him at all times. This eases stress on the mind and that stress was exactly what made him lose control.

Ageha also asks Marie about her "program", the way she manages to control many different things and movements at the same time. I’m not sure why he wants to know this since I don’t see how he could incorporate that into his Melchsee’s Door.

I thought this training was going to last long like most shonen mangas when it comes to this but, Psyren is developing fast, which is good, since it could turn boring otherwise.

Ageha returns home and trains alone. The day comes that he returns to his friends. It seems he’s managed to control learn Burst Stream. He asks Matsuri about ways to figure the date in the future. She’s talking about this precisely when Nemesis Q appears. He’s here probably to bring them back Psyren but, you never know.. Anyway, it seemed like he waited just until they were read on purpose.
