Claymore - Chapter 81
A Promise Of Long Ago
A new generation Claymore has noticed some youki. It was either from Priscilla or the killed Yoma.
The town’s people, instead of thanking Raki, start accusing him of being a Yoma. The Claymore arrives at the scene and his curious to how Raki found who the Yoma was.
Raki tries to lie, saying it was just an hunch. Obviously, she doesn’t believe him and grabs him. Pricilla intervenes and René notices her power. She freaks out and steps back. She warns Raki.
Raki knows of her Yoma nature. He says she’s been holding back and is probably hitting her limit. If the time comes for her to feed again, he will try to stop her but, he knows he will probably end up as food to her.
Rene leaves them. As she’s returning in the mountains. She’notices an awakened being and escapes. She finds it strange that an awakened followed her, since they normally prefer to live alone and hidden. But, the awakened who followed her was just leading her to a trap where Riful was going to catch her.
So, the abyssal being, Riful appears again. She’s still gathering Claymores for her army.
It’s hard to predict the next chapter. The war in this land is surely coming closer. But, even if Clare and the others win, how will they face the other land? Where the dragon creatures also live.
