Knockdown Monster

Madarame really is down. The pillar is destroyed. Yumichika abandons his post to go help but, the other two stop him. They can’t leave their pillars unprotected and also, Ikkaku is really supposed to be the stronger of them, if he can’t defeat the fraccion, no one of them could.

At least, Ikkaku is still alive. The way he talks, I can’t guess if he’s just trying to piss him off, or if he really thinks that if he used bankai or something he could win. Still, the fraccion hasn’t released too yet.

Captain Komamura and his Lieutenant are the ones that come to the rescue. The fraccion is caught offguard and thrown away. He comes back and punches Komamura instead. His punch is a lot more powerful than Komamura’s. He also releases his sword. Was Komamura holding back? Has this fraccion the same power as a Captain?

Raikage Makes His Move

Naruto reachs the final step in his training. He has to be able to balance himself on a difficult spot. Once he does it, he’ll be able to use the saje techniques.

Meanwhile, the Hawk talk. It seems all of them are recuperating well. Suigetsu talks to him about getting the eight tail’s power. Does this mean Sasuke will have the bijuu for himself? Is it in Akatsuki’s plans to give a bijuu to some of the members? I’m not sure if the translation was right, Suigetsu could just be asking if Sasuke was able to beat the eight tail’s..

Sasuke is feeling pretty confident with his new found skills but, it seems the price is high. His eye sight has already deteriorated a lot.

Anyway, Karin finds out about the pursuing shinobi from the Hidden Cloud. They get him.

Now, the Hidden Cloud doesn’t know their exact location. He sends one of his best teams to search the area for them. Meanwhile, he’s going to inform Konoha of the subject and try to get some info on Sasuke. Could things be heading to an all out battle with everyone envolved?

Meanwhile, Madara has obtained all of the bijuu except for the Kyuubi. Now they just need to wait for Pein and do the bijuu-removing technique.

Naruto’s going to complete his training in the next issue. What’s going to happen now? How much longer before Pein reaches Naruto? How long before Cloud and Konoha arrive at Sasuke’s location?

Can’t wait..

The Elder Priest’s Prayer

This episode was mostly filler oriented. This episode was probably meant to delay the story so that the fights can start in the next special. I hope they take advantage of this and really do a nice episode, specially after seing the new OP.. I hope they don’t let us down.

So, nobody seems to find the Akatsuki duo. Meanwhile, Asuma goes to visit the temple and some old memories of Chiriku return. The filler did a nice job in showing Asuma’s convicton and how Chiriku was important to him.

He also learns that Akatsuki is probably going to trade Chiriku as a bounty. It seems he’s worth a lot more than Chiriku himself as a Guardian.

The rest was just filler. Teams shearching for Akatsuki, Naruto having some ramen problems, Sakura trying to kill people with her soldier pills. At the end there’s some development, Kakashi is going to teach Naruto the next step in his training, he shows him that he can also use Rasengan if he wants to.

The next episode doesn’t seem to be one of those high quality ones but, it can still be good, here’s to oping..

Ichigo Rages!
The Assassin’s Secret

Sorry for the lateness, university got in the way of things. New episodes have already come out so, I’ll keep it short.

Amagai really was the bad guy behind all of this. Still, his motives are comprehensible.

I was hoping the personality he showed during this arc was really who he was. I can understand why he did this but, just for his revenge, he ended up hurting a lot of people and that’s wrong.

Also worth mentioning, Kenryuu made me laugh hard when he suddenly started screaming his attack. This was the reason he never talked. Seems strange that he only used his voice now, he should have had to call his zanpakutou earlier when he used shikai.

So, Amagai uses a bakkotou with the ability to nullify a shinigami’s powers. Now, this is troublesome but, I don’t know the full extent of that power, if it only nullifies attacks in terms of abilities then, Ichigo’s bankai, being based solely on speed, can still allow him to fight, he just can’t use Getsuga.

But anyway, once he turns Vaizard, all of his attacks should be able to hit Amagai. Ichigo is the only one currently at Soul Society that has a chance.

New episode’s information have been released. This is not official I think but, we can expect the original story to continue in episode 190. I wonder what explanation will they give to how all of this arc happened.

Escape

They all take the opportunity to run. Amamiya is caught by the smaller pursuer. It seems he’s not interested in following his orders anymore, I really thought they were afraid of Dholaki, guess not.

Ageha and Kabuto end up together. Dholaki is the one searching for them, they got the worst possible opponent, they shouldn’t really have a chance against him. It seems Dholaki can feel them to some point, which means he probably won’t leave the area, will Ageha have to confront him?

Hiryuu doesn’t think he can outrun his enemy in his condition and decides to confront him. Oboro appears at that moment, it seems we was close and keeping an eye on Hiryuu in case he was caught. Oboro puts aside the possibility of Hiryuu fighting in his condition and really, I think Oboro can probably take care of the problem himself. He’s really a genius, his simple ability with Rise may be enough to destroy this opponent.

Meanwhile, Amamiya loses the sword fight. She tries to use the wired trance technique but, her opponent much more control over those powers.

She uses a new trance technique where she makes a scythe. Can’t wait to see how these fights will evolve.

The Prelude To Decay

So, Kurono finally comes back, all the people who turned away from this manga because of his death can now come back.. Anyway, he only remembers what happened until the time he left Gantz. After that, there’s no memories, this shows how he really is dead, the new Kurono is actually more like a clone of the real Kurono that was made before he chose to be free from Gantz. But, it’s still him.

The Gantz’s team is looking stronger than ever (only Izumi missing), things are looking good, until someone decides it’s time he lets the others know a little more about the situation. Nishi shows the others that the Earth is in countdown to destruction. I have no idea of it could be, either something related to the aliens destroying the world or the own human race doing it.

I wonder how much Nishi, Izumi and the other members from Gantz knew about everything.

They probably going to talk things over in the next chapter but, unless the vampire has some info on the subject, I doubt they will get anywhere.

I’m not sure but, I think Gantz could be close to it’s ending.

Fear For The Fight

Hisagi has released his zanpakutou. It seems like it doesn’t have any special abilities, just the physical shape, that allows for unpredictable attacks.

His gain in strength is too much for the fraccion. He shatters the rest of his mask, stating he has reached captain level strength. But, he’s wrong, Hisagi can still take care of him easily. In the process of defeating him, Hisagi shares a battle philosophy from his old captain. "He who does not fear his sword, is not worthy to hold it", it’s an interesting quote. And it makes me wonder even more why Tousen joined Aizen, he and Gin are the most interesting characters for me right now, just like Itachi was of Naruto. Because, we have no idea that could explain their actions.

As Hisagi is about to defeat his opponent something very unexpected happens. Ikkaku seems to be defeated. If I was told only one of them would win, I would bet it to be Ikkaku. He’s the most battle-oriented of the four and he’s probably the strongest, having already attained bankai. Is he really defeated? At least, if he is, the others won’t probably have much trouble in dealing with 3 on 1.

The Legend Of The Gutsy Ninja

Naruto reads Jiraya’s book. It’s about a shinobi very similar to Naruto and the 4th in appearance. Also, he has Naruto’s way of doing things. Not accepting things that are wrong and vowing to change them.

We’re only shown the story until the name of the character is about to be revealed. Being this his first book, we already known the character’s name is Naruto, after all, Naruto was named after this book. Strange how he grew to be much like this character.

There’s a flashback where he talks with Jiraya about how hatred and revenge can change someone and if they can really understand them. Anyway, they both take as their job to bring happiness and understanding to the world.

Sasuke gets to the Akatsuki hideout and delivers the eight-tails. He’s thinking of healing his group’s wounds and immediately going to Konoha. There’s another flashback of when Sasuke talked to Madara alone and we are revealed what he truly wants to do as revenge.

Well, as it could be easily guessed, Sasuke doesn’t want to follow on his brother’s wishes. He plans to kill the 3 elders who took part on the Uchiha massacre planing. But, not only. He considers the whole village guilty for having peace and joy at the cost of his brother and clan’s sacrifice, even if they don’t know.

He’s hatred as grown to far but, its understandable. It seems there will be no happy ending for Sasuke’s story. He will ether kill all of Konoha’s people or be killed by them. Can it be that his last fight will be against Naruto?

I’m not sure they currently have the power to take Konoha just like they are but, the situation is going to change anyway. First, the Raikage is coming to take back his father. He must be one of the strongest shinobi around. If he brings more strong shinobi from their village, they will make things difficult for Akatsuki. Akatsuki may win, but I don’t think all of them can come out alive.

Also, knowing that an Uchiha is involved, maybe they will call Konoha for assistance or just help in dealing with a common problem. Maybe the final war will start fight there. Although Naruto won’t probably be involved. He’ll have to defeat Pein in the frog lands.
