They have been found and they are in no position to fight such a strong opponent.

It seems Dholaki is just curious and will let them live if they answer is questions. He asks them where they come from. If they answer this, he’ll know they are attempting to destroy them in the past and, unless he’s absolutly confident they can’t be defeated, he will probably have to kill them.

So, they lie. But, it’s easy to see that they are lieing and Dholaki sends two of his minions to capture them. Hiryuu sacrifices himself to defend an attack and creates a diversion.

I wonder if all of them can escape. Hiryuu himself is almost dead, the attack he received was meant to kill him. Dholaki just underestimated them, thinking they were normal humans. If he knew before, I’m sure he had no problem killing Hiryuu with just one attack.

Will they all manage to get to the exit?

A Prospective Reunion

We start with a good explanation about their continent. Things make more sense now that we know the layout of the land. Anyway, Clare was already thinking of ditching the other two and going on alone. But, Miria already suspected this and one of the Claymore’s she sent is extremely fast.

So, they start their search for Raki with a city where there’s an high probability of being an awakened but, they find something much more strange. Three soldiers taking the Youki suppression medication, one looks much like Miria. And even stranger, two men from the organization come talk to them, all in the middle of day with all the villagers watching. From the meds, they probably don’t know that there’s an awakened near.

They look like they are searching for a soldier. They say they took to much time gathering their intel so, it means that by the time they got the info on her location she was already gone. Now, they say they wanna keep this a secret, does this mean the organization can punish them for not being able to capture her? They talk about maybe she being already captured. Does this mean there’s someone capturing soldiers like Riful?

The awakened attacks in the middle of this. The soldiers are took by surprise, they really had no idea. Clare and the other two protect them. They also put them and the men unconscious and take care of the awakened. It seems even the weakest of them as grown far more powerful than a normal soldier.

The action on this chapter was great.

While they think about what happened, another man from the organization appears. Rude meets Clare again. I’m really curious to know of all this situation. but, I doubt he will just tell them. They could capture him and make him talk. If they let him just leave, because the organization would have absolute proof that they are alive. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

The Will To Fight

The video continues and shows that somebody was already prepared for this. The Elmore children appear. By their dialog, we can understand that Elmore herself has already passed away, probably due to age or an agr related illness.

Taking aside Marie, all the kids go to fight the WISE. The leading man of the 3 WISE feels bad for having to fight PSI users. He would probably like them to join him. He must have that Magneto mentality from X-Men, PSI users are superior, humans don’t deserve to live bla bla. Anyway, as the children come closer all prepared to attack, the man uses a single attack called Severity. Half the place gets trashed again, and as the picture returns to the camera, all of the children besides Marie has been killed.

The video ends with the WISE preparing to destroy the rest of the world.

It would be hard to believe that the Elmore children had just hidden themselves. It makes sense that they tried to defeat the WISE, I just didn’t think almost all of them would die. Still, this is the future without the fact that Nemesis Q was bringing people to the future. Their forces are going to be greater now and they already know about the attack.

The thing now is, will they be able to fight them? That level of attack surpasses everything they know of. I didn’t think the WISE would already be this strong right in the beginning.

Now, there’s still the mystery of Nemesis Q who seems to be a PSI user with the ability to create portals through space and time. There’s been a lot of theories about him being Shao or Matsuri. But, Shao’s dead. As for Matsuri, I think it wouldn’t make sense, because she didn’t have PSI powers at the time. She only got PSI powers when Nemesis Q traveled to the past. The only explanation now is that she is Marie who developed that technique alone. She didn’t have a special ability besides controlling her general PSI very well, so maybe this was her personal PSI power that she developed after some time. Or Nemesis Q is just one of the WISE who revolted or any other of those natural PSI users who already existed in the world.

Everyone is shocked by the footage but, they have more urgent matters to attend to. Dholaki has just found them. After witnessing the power of the WISE, will they be able to survive?

What Lies Hidden

So, my guess about the secretary not being involved in the assassination is true. Still, all of this happened, because of Cross and Allen’s meeting. This means someone there passed information to central, maybe he’s one of those elite soldiers, could also be the same one who was ordered to kill him.

Lavi and the old bookman are also at risk, because they were present. And both of them have already figured out that Central is involved in this.

About everyone believing that there’s a possibility of Cross being alive, i’m not to sure. I think he’s really dead, because if he wasn’t he would appear in the future and it was already stated that "no one saw him ever again".

Another important thing is the secretary. He understands it was the Central’s doing. But, is he just pissed because they acted without him? Or is he really worried. What I mean is, what side is he on?

Everything will probably come down to the hidden side of the war. Allen and his friends may end up leaving the organization, although they have the same final objective of defeating the Earl. You never know. The same thing that happened in Claymore could happen here.

Meanwhile, the other unknowing characters continue their daily lives meeting all the new people that has come from the other offices and branches.

A new development is also taking place. The order has got an akuma egg. Maybe to study it and get more information on how to destroy them or maybe to try some wacky experiment and create new soldiers for them.

Can’t wait to know more.

The Claws

The fraccion fighting Hisagi seems to be habing the advantage. He decides to release his zanpakutou to finish Hisagi.

He gets his arms transformed into someking of bug claws. He also takes the opportunity to explain his life philosophy.

Hisagi finally decides to attack but, the fraccion reveals a new power and manages to surround Hisagi with an, impossible to dodge, attack. It’s then that Hisagi uses his shikai to counter the attack.

His zanpakutou seems to be a direct-attack type. It’s a double weapon with two "double-scythes" united by a chain. It seems like his weapon could be good for some real physic and strategic battle instead of all the power type battles that have been going on.

A New Power

Sasuke, driven to save himself and his friends, manages to use Amaterasu despite his physical state.

The 8 tails gets caught on the black flames. No matter all it’s power, he underestimated them and Amaterasu really has an enormous advantage against an enemy so large and consequently slow. It really makes it seem like any bijuu could be instantly killed by this technique. Itachi probably didn’t use, because they need them alive.

The 8 tails starts going crazy getting in and out of the water, desperately trying to extinguish the flames, too bad they are inextinguishable. Or maybe not..

So, Karin ends up being hit by the 8 tails and the fire spreads to her body. And then, Sasuke, with both eyes using mangekyou, reverses the jutsu and extinguishes the black flames. I think this is the reason about all that talk about Sasuke having the most potential to Orochimaru, and knowing that Tobi also said something like it was part of his plan to make Sasuke. Sasuke will probably be able to use some new never scene before mangekyou techniques.

Or, more probably, it’s normal for all mangekyou users to be able to put them out. Tobi also did this but, we couldn’t be sure if he put them out or if he used another technique related to his strange body and abilities that haven’t been revealed yet.

They get Karin to safety and, as Sasuke realizes what he just did, Sasuke also extinguishes the 8 tail’s flames. Now, the jinchuriki is down. But, they still have to get out of there. And it doesn’t look like it’s going to be easy.

The two shinobi watching them realize their true strength and how dangerous they are. They are going to report on the Raikage who happens to be the already mentioned brother of Killerbee.

I wonder how Sasuke and the others will deal with the other shinobi and Kage in their current state.

Meanwhile, Naruto’s training his progressing fast. Now, he needs to learn to use the Sage techniques without using the special oil. Once he can do this, his techniques won’t take a tool on his stamina because he’s not using his own chakra. Also, recovering using the nature’s chakra will also speed the process. Knowing he still has the Kyuubi helping, Naruto is becoming one of the most powerful shinobi.

It also seems like Naruto already has some kind of technique that he wants to try with the Sage techniques.

The toad takes the opportunity to show Naruto Jiraya’s first book. What will Naruto learn of this?

Under The Starry Sky

For those who like to skip the OP, you may not have noticed that this one is slightly different than the last. The beginning is the same but, the parts where there used to be the filler characters has now Hidan, Kakuzo and the shinobi that are going to fight them. The fight scenes and animation are awesome, the best yet in Shippuuden in my opinion. This are the kind of taijutsu fights that I wouldn’t mind seeing as filler in the anime.

There’s some minor filler showing how Naruto, Sakura and Sai have become closer friends. There’s also some scenes of Sakura with Iruka, it was kind of strange. It didn’t make much sense for her character and she changed moods to quickly but, it was a quick scene and didn’t really bother the rest of the episode.

Konoha receives the news about Akatsuki and Chiriku. Platoons have already been forced and Tsunade sends them off after explaining the situation. They are not looking to defend themselves, they are going to attack. The Akatsuki duo is supposed to be captured or killed and everyone seems pumped up to do it.

Naruto finishes another part of the training, boy it’s going fast, I think it’s taking less time than in the manga, which is good.

By the next episode’s preview, I’m not sure if they are going to use that episode to delay things a little.. I hope they meet Akatsuki at least at the end, so that in 2 more episodes awesome fights can happen :)

I’m not sure if this will be part of the chronology of the series or just a "one-shot" pilot-like thing to see if a complete series will be made or not so, I’m naming it as episode 0.

Don’t be mislead by the title, Candy Boy has no boys in it. It’s a shoujo-ai about two sisters, Yuki and Kana. They are the most important person to each other. And they seem to like each other more than in a normal sister-relationship. But, their true feelings have never really been reveled so, when a new girl appears to like Yuki, things get complicated.

It’s a really short story, the synopsis practically gives you the whole plot but, it’s not for that that this ONA (released directly onto the Internet) is so good.

The simple scenes and the dialogs are really well done. There’s some really funny situations. While the story-line is kind of lacking, the directing and the way the story is told and progresses is awesome. Never such a simple story made me like it so much.

As for the characters, there’s not much development but, it doesn’t feel like it needed more. Also, this was supposed to be something like a standalone episode. Only more recently had it been decided to continue this story and make a series out of it. I’m not sure if the following episodes are going to have some continuity with this one or if they are just going to tell the story anew as if they were to separate series.

The art style is awesome, I really love it. The animation is very good, with a lot of details, some of the best I’ve seen recently.

There’s not much to say about this ten minutes, only that it was really good and will certainly put a smile on your face. Highly recommended.
