In The Hospital

Ageha wakes up in the hospital after what seems like a pleasant dream with Miya. Anyway, everyone ended up okay, even Kyle.

Kagetora also helped release the two guys working for Inui and, after knowing why they wanted the money, managed to get their sister cured with help from that advanced healer that Matsuri knew. There’s always a chance that they will join Ageha’s group now..

The chapter also shows Kagetora’s real ties with the Yakuza.

Ageha wants to watch the DVD from the future again, to confirm Miroku as the guy that kills the children. But, when they get the DVD.. it has changed..

Now, although no one has traveled in time yet lol The way this story is happening may not make much sense. I think it’s supposed to be like this: everything that they saw in the future, happened. Then someone created Nemesis Q to bring people to the future and try and prevent it from happening. So, now that Ageha and his friends new about all this, they actually interfered with the normal flow of time and changed things.

But, this shouldn’t really happen.. right? Although it would make their attempts futile, the future they were in, should be it, no changes allowed. It should already take into consideration everything that they would do until that time.. So the DVD should have always shown this new film instead of the other..

Anyway, in the new video, you can see that the W.I.S.E. are more into style than into crazy-cult robes. I can’t be sure if one of them is Miroku.. if Miroku isn’t there, then it means that the kids death has been changed. At least they won’t die because of him.

I wonder if the next chapter will show the actual fight, with Ageha included this time, unless they were on a mission in the future.. but, would it make sense for Nemesis Q to prevent them from helping at that important time? And about the fight, if they show it.. it will take the edge of watching it again when it really happens so, I don’t think we’ll be shown all of it.

The Gluttony

Yammi comes looking for fun. Ulquiorra doesn’t really want him there.

He wants to take Ichigo. He then notices the girls and decides to kill them. One is taken out instantly. The other releases her zanpakutou, who’s a poison/acid user, Yammi takes her out to too. I actually felt pity for them. Not sure if they are really dead.. Yammi never had the skill to really measure someone’s strength or his own..

He then asks about Inoue. But, no luck for him, Ishida comes flying from the hole in the wall.

He quickly deals with Yammi using a land mine made by Mayuri. Well, this was really fast lol I had already forgotten about Ishida. It’s good to see him back into real action.

Sage Technique Failure?

Sage mode is off. Pain’s attack is on. Things are gonna get tough.

Pain comes to attack. Naruto needs to use the scroll to summon one of his clones and have him transfer his chakra to him turning his sage mode on again.

Gamabunta tries to help but, Pain doesn’t leave Naruto alone. He passes the scroll to one of the frogs.

Naruto and Gamabunta manage to hold God Realm off. Without his power, is just a good taijutsu user.

Pain is about to use one of his black blades when the frog manages to get Naruto back in Sage mode. Naruto breaks the blade with his bare hands and sends Pain flying with just a kick. A Rasen Shuriken follows but, the "absorber-Pain" saves God Realm.

Naruto understands he’s got to take out the "reviver-Pain" first.

He uses two rasengans for smoke bombs lol. Then he sends a fake Rasen Shuriken getting the absorver out of the way for a Rasen Shuriken to hit God Realm. But, it was all a distraction and another clone gets the reviver from behind.

Anyway, God Realm’s powers are back. His power is really something, he can destroy a Rasen Shuriken easily.

Can’t wait to read more. It seems there’s gonna be at least some color pages in the next chapter.

The Game Is Over

Things get very interesting in this chapter. Falcon actually lies by telling the truth. I mean, he hides his true intentions and the fact that this is all a test and that he suspects her, by saying that Otoya didn’t trust her and they went there so they could verify her new alibi.

So, everything fine for now. He also does a couple of tries to be able to go get the pen but, Maya stops all his attempts for leaving the room.

Then, Falcon unexpectedly pretends to have already looked in Maya’s computer. Although he didn’t, Maya has proof in her pc that she wasn’t in Japan at the time and she already said she was so, to her, it seems like she just plainly lied to Fujimaru. She gets her gun immediately and point it at him stating she was testing the virus that day.

So, Fujimaru manages to uncover the truth without actually looking into her laptop. Still seeing him so confident, Maya looks back and understands that his "it’s hot" plan was actually for her to really open the curtain and window. She quickly looks outside (and I was thinking right "did Fujimaru ask the Third E people to help him? Who could it be outside that can shoot a weapon?") But, it was all him and Otoya. Maya shoots instantly but, Otoya probably already having her on his sight for a long time, had the advantage and shoots an arrow at her. Still, she misses him just by a little.

Maya drops the weapon and loses consciousness. Now, they now she’s with the enemy and they have her hostage. They just don’t know how important she really is in the enemy’s plan.

The Insurmountable Obstacle

Saku comes to make the trip more funny and interesting. She actually goes all out and mentions lesbian stuff directly for the first time. The nosebleed was funny, wasn’t expecting to see that on a female character.

Saku is taken by surprise when she arrives at the twin’s home town. Then, a third sister appears, Shi. She’s younger than the other two and doesn’t seem very happy to see her two sisters being so close with each other.

Shi seems to have a crush on Yuki.. So, it’s Yuki and Kana wanting each other (at some deeper level lol) and Shi wanting Yuki, while Saku likes Kana.

The rest of the family leaves because of an accident, it’s not this time that a male character is gonna be introduced.

Yuki-chan, as always, has some interesting christma’s sweet distribution theories lol.

Then again, I’m not sure if Shi really has something more than a sisters feeling for Yuki, it could just be that they get along better. Anyway, she’s kind of depressed for being away from her sisters while they manage to stay together. It’s the first episode with some more serious drama.

I’m pretty curious to see the next episode.

Shikamaru’s Genius
When He Was Cursed, You Dug

I was expecting this episode to be real bad, because of the last being so good but, I’m glad I was wrong.

The animation is not top notch like the previous episode but, it’s good and Kakashi’s "filler" fights are cool.

As a side note, there’s some new music on this episode.

Shikamaru’s plan works and they take out Kakuzo’s heart and he dies.

The creatures continue living and come to save Kakuzo. It’s good to see Chouji actually doing something. His "filler" actions were done right and make sense with his abilities. The anime script writers are finally doing something right. Shippuuden is becoming better and better. I hope that quality isn’t lost again in the future.

Anyway, Kakuzo uses his last resources and catches all of them unprepared. He’s about to kill them when Team Kakashi arrives.

Naruto and Yamato’s combined technique was really cool and smart to stop Kakuzo’s combined technique. Kakashi couldn’t counter his abilities himself because he could only counter fire with water, he had nothing to counter the wind mix in Kakuzo’s attacks but, the wind user has arrived.

I really liked the mid-episode parody for the first time. If they can make good funny quick sketches, it’s way better than the usual "password games".

Maybe it’s because I don’t remember the manga so well anymore now but, I’m enjoying this episodes more and can’t actually tell if some stuff is anime original or taken from the manga.

Kakuzo’s comment on Naruto being worn out was funny.

Sakura looked funny. She even reminded of Naruto fighting Sasuke (when he was running and had his nose all tinked up or something) when she was running alongside Sai.

Overall, not the best production, quality wise, but, a good episode. I hope the next has Naruto’s fight with some better animation.

And what the hell was that at the end?

I though it was some new movie at first but, it seems like a quick preview into Shippuuden’s next season. It should start right in next week’s episode, that means this arc, and Naruto’s fight, is gonna end next week. It will be about the three tails, which only took one or to chapter of the manga.

There will be some filler but, things look good overall. I’m just concerned with the fact that they are not only doing filler but, also changing the original story-line with Konoha protecting the 3 tails. I hope something good comes out.

Strategy

This chapter marks the beginning of volume 3. Fujimaru now has the chance to investigate Maya’s apartment. While on the phone, his conversation with Otoya is hilarious.

They arrive at the conclusion that Maya is probably prepared in case her apartment gets searched by the police. It’s a place some people could get easy access to and it’s not likely for her to ever leave any clues there knowing that.

Anyway, her laptop has been left in open view. She probably didn’t leave anything there but, she might have had it and Fujimaru checks deleted files, because deleted files aren’t really deleted with normal methods.

Maya comes back and there’s no time to complete the transfer. Fujimaru takes a chance and improvises a plan leaving the pen in the room, meeting Maya outside and managing for him to be the one opening the door and pretend it was locked. All went good and was actually original. It was funny seeing him lying about his friend and his sister and actually get mad thinking about it lol

Inside the apartment again, they both think there’s a possibility they are being suspect by the other. Fujimaru tries to make Maya leave for the kitchen but, she manages to bring him with her.

A stressful ambient takes over. And in the middle of this, Fujimaru remembers that Russian Christmas is actually on a different day than theirs and he tells this to Maya. So, that’s how she forged her alibi, she actually was there on the video club that day. Seems strange.. She could just have gotten an alibi for the actual day. Once they new that the Russian Christmas was on a different day, she would still be saved..

I really liked this chapter, very funny and suspenseful.

Joining the Battle!
The Strongest Shinigami Army Appears

Help as come, things are about to get cool :)

I can’t help notice that Yashiru is bigger. Has she grown? I didn’t notice it in the manga.

I liked some of the filler jokes. As long as they don’t overdo it.

This episode was more to show the new characters arriving and introducing the next battles. Zaraki’s fight was just filling time with meaningless sword action.

Kurotsuchi and Aporro are just talking for now. I loved all their dialogs in the manga, probably my favorite talk between two enemies in Bleach. I’m also liking Kurotsuchi’s new look a lot more now than when I first read the manga.

Kuchiki is probably going to be the focused battle for now. Although this one was needed, I hope they don’t give us more episodes where every battle is shown and none progresses lol.

I hope the quality raises a little in the next episodes. I’m guessing the episode taking special treatment will be when Nnoitra fights Kenpachi for real. It’s probably the best fight of this part of the story.

The "Arrancar’s Encyclopedia" was stupidly funny lol
