The Lust
Cero Oscura completely smashes Ichigo’s mask. Still, he continues in Vizard mode, at least for a while. Down in the dome, everyone feels the impact. Ishida agrees to take Inoue to Ichigo. Although unexpected, it was cool hearing Ishida as the narrator.
Ichigo is unable to really do anything at this point. He’s just being thrown around by Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra just hasn’t killed him yet because he wants him to comprehend that there’s no point in Ichigo trying. He becomes even more puzzled after hearing Ichigo say that he knows he’s no match for him but, that he’s going to win anyway.
Ulquiorra thinks Ichigo feels this way because he hasn’t yet known true despair, or really get into his head that he can’t win. So, Ulquiorra transforms. It was kind of odd, if you think about it, how Ulquiorra’s transformation wasn’t really that big of a transformation, specially when all Arrancar are supposed to become at least beast-like when they release. And so, it seems Ulquiorra was still hiding his true form.
He starts turning black, his face "paintings" and hears become bigger. In short, he’s starting to look like a beast now.
It was an awesome chapter. Now I’m curious to see the full extent of Ulquiorra’s transformation, although it shouldn’t really make a difference, I mean, does it really make a difference if he’s 100 times stronger or 200 times stronger than Ichigo? lol
There’s also Ishida’s "I would immediately regret agreeing." Why give it such importance? I guess something really unexpected is gonna happen with Ichigo, Inoue, Ulquiorra and Ishida.

lol right now i dont believe in Ichigo coming back, without a very good explanation.. like if he lets his hollow take control or something..
I think kubo is really letting us know that there’s nothing ichigo can do

I completely agree. There has been so much attention and emphasis put on the fact that Ichigo is vastly outmatched by Ulquiorra that unless something spectacular occurs, it’ll be a disappointment. Does make me think back to Ichigo and Ulquiorra’s first meeting when ichigo’s hollow/vaizard power was uncontrolled and Ulquiorra made a refererence to it wavering up and done to the point that it was at one moment pathetically un-powerful and then the next it was superior to his own. So in theory… Ichigo could stand up to him but i’m thinking of that moment as somewhat discardable now. I can’t imagine Ichigo defeating Ulquiorra and to be quite honest, i don’t want him too. Ulquiorra has been clearly defined from his appearance as being incredibly powerful and despite ichigo being the main character, i do enjoy him not winning and not overcoming all unfathomable odds. I feel as if by this point in their battle, if Ichigo does defeat Ulquiorra on his own that i’ll be completely disappointed with it. Though with 4 captains, 3 leiutenants and a bunch of other relatively strong people in the area…. surely soooomeone will inevitably intervene…. if not Grimmjow who everyone is somewhat expecting. :p
I’m rather excited to see what will happen though and particularly in regards to Ishida/Inoue. That opening really, reeeaallly intrigued me.

i agree definently ahem have you read that fanafiction and ulquiorras info on wiki it says everything and did yu read that fanfiction istarted readin it there was this that the kings key and spirits key ulquiorra was forced by aizen-sama to cut one of these parts using his zanpakuto/katana although he refused to do everything harmful aizen-sama told him to do to in the past and upuntil now he was forced and at any cost hed to doit when the blood spilt to the floor it turned into gold her wound was dripping until all the gold in her dna blood spilt out when i was reading the manga first i cud hold my tears but as the sorowful words on the story filled my brain tears welled up in my eyes and i cud not hold em back and i some how felt like i dont no why but i felt like i was inoue orihime at that moment he said that the person who she thought was not her sister and actually her sister was hime-sama i felt like i was inoue orihime i am actually a royal princes but a muslim long ago before the first king there was the person who was the nextstronget the person who wud get the possesion ofthat king after the blah blah i will continue tomorow bye!
