Fullmetal Alchemist - Chapter 93
Arch Enemy
Kimblee is out, and Heinkel uses him as a shield against Pride. Pride actually stops the his attack because of this. He then prepares to attack Marcoh when Yoki comes out of nowhere, saving him and everybody else. Didn’t expect Yoki to ever make a difference in the actual story. They are now planning on going to Central.
Seems Pride didn’t attack Kimblee, hoping that he was still alive and that he could consume him.
Meanwhile, Alex manages to stop for Sloth.. not for long of course. Anyway, guards appear and prepare to kill them but, something else appears that no one there was expecting. The zombie chimeras have made it to the "populated" area. At least now the guards may start cooperating with them which could mean the whole army (the human part at least) turning against Central.

Bit off more than you can chew hum?
The girl from Xing has no problem evading and running from Envy but, she can’t actually destroy it.
Ed and the others are having more difficulty dealing with the dolls. They are reaching their limit when Mustang makes his appearance, blasting every thing, Ed included of course :) It was really funny hearing Hawkeye comment on bullets being useless this days.
Mustang also brings some good moments, specially when he talks with Envy, who meets them by chance along with the girl from Xing.
Mustang finally learns Envy killed Hughes. He’s now 100% serious and set for revenge.
The series continues awesome, looking forward to the next chapter.
- Personal Enjoyment: 5/5

LOVED this chapter. Actually felt like things are coming together.
Though Mustang in particular stood out to me. When i thought back to the first anime series, realised how in both that and the manga that Mustang is always living in the shadow of Hughes’ death and yet he never got to resolve anything. So seeing him and Envy encounter one another and the confession of murder, i’m very excited to see Mustang potentially get his revenge. We’ve never really seen him lose his cool properly before. Well, got an insight with the Maria Ross incident i suppose, but we know what really happened there. :p Amusing to hear Envy try to wind him up about Maria’s ‘Murder’, good to be reminded that they’re not omniscient as they like to make out.
Though i wonder what the result of this battle will be, it’s at a perfectly appropriate time for another homonculus to be bumped off. Also, Mustang seems to be one of the special ones that ‘father’ wants. Which just makes me think ‘DOH! They’re walking exactly into what he wants’ :p especially after Pride’s comment about manipulating those brave sorts of people and getting Al charging off to central.
But hey, what sort of finale would it be if the villain didn’t almost succeed and one of the main characters wasn’t present :p

you said it all. Of course that they want them in Central but, they have to go there too to stop them.
I wanted Mustang to really tell Envy how they actually didn’t kill Ross and deceived them. I would have liked to see the look on his face after realizing how non-omnipotent they are.
This new battle will probably only end with one of them dying.. it’s the end after all, no reason to keep characters alive anymore lol. Still, I don’t see this happening any other way than Mustang getting his revenge.

Yeah this was an awesome chapter. Mustang vs. Envy was the fight that should have happened in the old anime but didn’t, but now it’s on!!! Mustang can mock Envy once he turns the homunculus to little more than ashes.
