Rasen Shuriken Vs Shinra Tensei!

Team Gai finally arrives. They are the first to find Hinata, it seems she’ll be saved.

Nagato is in his limit, the "moon’s" core disappears and it falls. Naruto has no more clones now. It also seems like he can only do two more Rasen Shuriken. Deva Realm can’t probably use Shinra Tensei much more. Naruto wants to talk face to face with Nagato but, Deva comes to attack. Naruto deflects him with taijutsu. Pain hasn’t used Shinra Tensei, which proves my point above.

Anyway, Naruto uses one of Pain’s "chakra-sticks" and pins down Nagato’s position. He then creates two clones and uses a smoke bomb for an instantaneous attack.

He sends the Rasen Shuriken and Deva breaks it but, the second was hidden on it’s shadow. The lag is 5 seconds.. can it hit before Pain uses Shinra Tensei again?

It’s the cool that Naruto used a technique he learned from Sasuke. And about Sasuke, doesn Nagato know about their story? Maybe he’ll end up helping Naruto in some way with information on Sasuke.

I wasn’t expecting Naruto to try to go to Nagato. Maybe he’ll arrive there at the same time as the other shinobi. That way, they can fight Konan while he proceeds. Now that Naruto knows a little more about Madara and all that, maybe he’ll be able to talk Nagato out of this. After all, it’s been some time since Naruto used his supposed power to change people’s hearts. Although, this won’t probably end without Nagato’s death, after all he has done. And also because it seems like he’s going to die soon anyway lol

An interesting detail. Hinata’s wounds weren’t fatal, I doubt Pain missed her vital organs. Which means he’s still a little soft on the inside.

Hishou Natehatena

Reever and the others arrive at the orphanage. They notice something wrong. They are not supposed to enter the barrier but, one of the guards manages top dispel it.

They are members from Crow, and they are really strong. Link, without his body fully restored to normal, fails to defend against the level 3 but, Maradao saves him by consuming the level 3 completely. I was hoping for Maradao to do something more physical but, it was still cool.

Now, Kanda and Allen seems eager to take revenge on the level 4. The final shot looked really cool.

The mysteries from Crow continue. First, the akumas don’t sense any innocence from them so, they are not exorcists. But, they surely have special abilities that humans don’t. Only akumas are supposed to e able to pass through that barrier. So maybe Crow members were experimented with Dark matter. If they use dark matter and are similar to akumas, then his ability to consume akumas makes sense.

Hopeless

Ageha loses a leg. His only chance now is using Melchesee’s Door up close and personal so that Dholaki can’t dodge or stop it. But, Ageha will probably get hurt too.

Meanwhile, Kabuto strugles to decide what to do. Asaga and the others are also at their limit. They can’t possibly win against Shiner. Asaga is falling to his death, Amamiya is paralyzed and Oboro (the one I was hoping to have a better chance, being a prodigy with PSI and all) is taken out without even realizing it. Maybe he’ll still use his ability to cure himself.

Ageha waits for the final chance but, he’s just blown away. Without being able to run, Kabuto appears to save him. He pushes Ageha aside and takes the explosion. It seems like he’s going to die.. But, I’m guessing he’ll survive someway, I hope so at least.

I’m really interested to see this fight. Great chapter.

Tsukikami Level II

I’m still a little confused about what’s been happening with D.Gray-Man because of the hiatus. Anyway, a bunch of Finders involved in the Timothy thieving mess, will now come along with Reever to help the others, probably. He has two guards from Central with him and they look powerful. They will probably be the key point in the fight.

I’m not sure if Reever had become greatly injured or something like that in the previous arc, or if he’s just receiving a really warm welcome because the Finders were sick of waiting.

In the battle field, Timothy takes another Akuma down and goes for the level III but, he has no chance whatsoever with just a level II. He also can’t possess him, so he’s useless right now. For a moment, I though he was going to end possessing the level IV and ending everything.

Timothy is about to get killed by the level 3 when Link appears and saves him. I can’t remember exactly but, it seems he was transformed into a doll by the Akuma Timothy possessed and now, the transformation has reversed.

They buyed some more time but, I’m guessing they will lose if Reever doesn’t arrive soon.

The Lust 4

Ichigo, still alive at some level (the brain isn’t supposed to die right away anyway). Ichigo can hear her calling, and it’s his own will that helps him stand up but, who’s actually in control?

Ichigo’s new hollow form looks cool, like a mix between the animal form (when he trained with the Vizards) and his more human form. Anyway, I don’t believe Ichigo is there right now but, doesn’t seem like Shirozaki too, seems like an animal but, a controlled one.

Anyway, Ulquiorra is surprised and can’t really comprehend what’s happening. "Ichigo" blasts a really powerful Cero, seems like a Cero more powerful than an oscura, ironically it’s all white.

The short fight was awesome, really gave that powerful feeling. Can’t wait to see this animated. As for Ulquiorra, he was kind of caught off guard, so we can’t be sure that he’s weaker just yet. But, the real fight will surely start now. I just hope it doesn’t follow the old (hollow is about to win, Ichigo’s consciousness comes back, he gets weaker again, the opponent is also a lot more injured, they finish the fight on equal level). Because this has already happened a little too much.

A Conversation With The 4Th

Naruto finally finds the truth about his father. The shinobi he tried so much to surpass as a child.

At first he’s kind of pissed for all his actions caused him but, he shyly lets him know that it’s all cool since he’s his father and also  (specially) the 4th Hokage lool

The 4th Hokage inside Naruto, isn’t just a "message" it’s really the 4th’s conscience, although his time is limited, it must have been hard enough already making that seal, his chakra fades quickly. He still has enough time to give confidence to Naruto and help him understand things better.

The 4th uses his remaining chakra to reseal the fox’s chakra and disappears. Naruto returns to normal. Standing on the little "moon" he looks down to Pain. He’s still in Hermit mode. The final battle will happen now.

Well, Deva Realm alone may already be strong enough to defeat Naruto but, he’s in a really bad state now. Even so, he mentioned having to make a bigger one. Does he really have enough chakra for an even bigger Chibaku Tensei? Well, Naruto looks determined, like he can’t lose.

Can’t wait to see more of this battle. I’m glad Kishimoto made a little twist instead of letting Naruto’s transformation take it’s course and have Pain and Yamato interfere while Naruto goes on a rampage to destroy the world. This is less predictable and I actually prefer it this way, it also gives a little more time for Naruto to defeat Pain and go ahead to learn more about this whole conspiracy involving the Uchiha (he still doesn’t know what Sasuke does). I think it’s not unlikely that this could end with both Naruto and Sasuke to end as kages or leaders for two villages or something like that (sort of a happy ending lol).

Shutdown

Inaba really is gone. The transfer starts almost right after his fall. He was really unlucky. Anyway, it seems Gantz is pulling back before it loses all it’s hunters.

Kurono and Kei continue fighting the statue that killed Inaba while the others transfer. In the end, Kurono seems to be the last one standing. He notices the old man too and doesn’t back down from the fight. He’s about to die when the chapter ends. But, I guess he’ll be transfered in time.

As for the others, at least Inaba and the oldman, I doubt they still have a breath of life in their bodies for Gantz to take them back. I wonder if survivors from all teams will be all sent to the same Gantz’ room.

I hope there’s some revelation in Gantz next episode. I mean, Gantz won’t just distribute points and send them home. The aliens are still running amok in Italy. Maybe Gantz will let the survivors have all the equipment they need, after all they survived one of the hardest missions yet.

The Target Appears

With the help from the new team, they manage to rescue Hinata and flee for some time. The fight scene although not great, wasn’t badly done too.

After getting to safety, they mistakenly break the crystal covering Hinata but, she’s unarmed because she created a thin layer of chakra around her body when she suffered the attack. This way her actual body and fluids weren’t crystallized.

This doesn’t really make sense, because first Hinata was actually conscious and all with only two problems. She had a crystal around her preventing from moving and second, she shouldn’t have any way to breath.

But, as the crystal shatters so easily, it means she could have just broke it herself and be done with it.. Since it wouldn’t injure her. Also, she should have died from not breathing for so long.

Meanwhile, Kabuto is also spying the two Konoha teams.

The filler goes a little overboard with Naruto and Kiba’s exchange of "friendly" words..

Anyway, Guren, Yuukimaru and Kabuto, along with go to test Yuukimaru again. This time the bijuu appears for real and it seems like they are gonna execute whatever plan they have.
