Well, things turned really bad. Barragan’s resurrection is.. Everything he comes close too quickly withers away and dies. His breath instantly kills anything it touches, also infecting it. Sui Fong’s arm was already badly injured but, now it doesn’t even exist anymore.
Unless Sui Fong’s bankai has some special ability that can be used here.. I think Sui Fong will have to pull back and let someone else take this fight. A long ranged fighter would be the best choice.
Meanwhile, Hitsugaya manages to survive well when keeping his distance but, I haven’t seen him do anything that indicates he can win. Also, Halibel decides to show her full strength and fires one very powerful attack. Not sure Hitsugaya can take it but, we’ll find out in the next chapter.
Funny of Barragan to comment on something that people talked since long ago, the fact that Shinigami and actually all the other souls in this manga can actually die again and fear it.
This chapter’s have been feeling short. The fights still haven’t developed enough to become fully enjoyable to me. For now I was liking the Hueco Mundo arc better.
