Gantz - Chapter 303
Daylight Of Destruction
Suddenly, the catastrophe starts, very weirdly. The sky turns red all over the world. Everyone is apprehensive. I liked how Nishi just went to the street fully equipped and yelling for "them" to "bring it on" lol. Anyway, the two Kuronos stay close to their loved one. Everyone is getting mentally prepared for whatever it is they will have to face. It really seems the fate of the world will be in Gantz hunter’s hands.
Meanwhile, the Army, is trying to catch some unknown flying thing, probably related to what’s happening. It seems to follow Gantz’ general design. Anyway, it quickly disrupts the planes and they fall. I guess the same happened with the plain that crashed in the previous chapter. Anyway, America is taking it pretty badly. Alls sorts of bad things happening. Not sure what that last image means, if it’s some kind of storm or a bomb but, they pretty much screwed up anyway.
As for the plot I thought they would continue revealing some more mysteries related to the old man that created the ball. But, the catastrophe starts, quite unexpectedly. The only problem with this chapter is that I think Gantz doesn’t really benefict from the "chapter per chapter" thing. I didn’t feel much tension for now, even with all that’s happening. All these breaks take a lot of the enjoyment out. Maybe I should have opted for reading this manga in volumes, rather than chapters but.. the curiosity lol
Well, he’ll have to wait until October to know, when Gantz starts it’s final phase. Now matter how much the author has told us, I have no frigging idea what’s gonna come out of this.

Heh, Just starting reading Gantz today, finished it today, though I watched the anime first awhile ago, 2, maybe 3 weeks ago.
I was like. :( O_O
And then I found out (from here, no where else actually said, =/) that the next (and possibly final?) Gantz is coming out in OCTOBER.
Hmm, nice review!
Love Gantz, it is my favorite anime, on par with FMA, I don’t know where I will find this amount of violence and nudity ever again. *sigh*
I hate it when you find something you like, because you may never find something as good ever again, you wish that you never saw it, so that you wouldn’t be depressed and/or you could be watching it/reading it/reliving it right now…

god, how much manga can you read in one day?? lol
i remember gantz being one of the mangas that hooked me up the most. the first time I started reading it, it went until 7o clock in the morning of the next day.. lol another manga that really got me was berserk
don’t worry, there’s plenty of good manga, although there’s really nothing else like gantz, there’s still lots of awesome series that are similar in some ways.
and I advise you to read berserk
