Bleach - Episode 228
Summer! Sea! Swimsuit Festival!!
Lool, the episode starts nicely with the girls from soul society choosing their swimsuits. Captain Unohana (hot) shows her dark side yet again lol. It’s cool that the creators are making good and truthful use of the character’s personalities lol, with some (maybe lots of) exceptions lol
And after all that censoring they are now exposing every female character.. I guess Halibel must have had something in her contract preventing her from showing some skin. (were Isane’s boobs always like this?)
Well, I suppose not many filler haters will be attacking this episode. It has some major fan service for both man and woman lol All with great art. Then, helping the party comes a Hollow that has tentacles! lol
We find out it’s just a game, it’s a hollow-fighting watermelon.. yep.. Basically, just brainless fun with lots of fan service.
I actually liked the episode. For me, this last fillers are the only really enjoyable ones I’ve seen Studio Pierrot do. It seems a big part of it was taken from an omake of the manga, no wonder it’s this good for this kind of episode. The next episode seems to be about Ikkaku and Keigo’s sister.

Awesome episode. Funny thing is that at least 70% of the episode was canon material (I mean almost everything except the Watermelon things) yet most people think it’s filler. Of course, it was no more than omake material in the manga, but it’s still Kubo Tite’s idea.
