Naruto Shippuuden - Episode 119 & 120
Kakashi’ Chronicles
~Boy’s Life In The Battle Field~ Part 1 & 2
It finally got animated. So, this is a story from Kakashi’s past, which explains most of the mysteries surrounding him. Anyway, I didn’t really like the kid’s voice, seemed odd and adult-like, specially Obito. In the intro, there were some re-made scenes from the first anime, the Op also features what I think will be the next movie, it looks nice in fighting and animation
Continuing, Kakashi has just became a Jounin and he’s already in a mission, these are times of war. Minato, their soon-to-be former captain is going with them. He will act as diversion so they can carry their mission. They encounter a stone shinobi and battle him. We learn just how strong Minato was, even though he only did small things. His technique is really curious.
There’s a lot of stuff I missed in the manga, or just don’t remember anymore. Kakashi’s father was even stronger than the 3 Sanin. I also thought Minato was just damn fast but, it seems he uses some transportation jutsu. Anyway, he’s really strong without showing off the slightest. It’s easy to see how he’s probably the strongest shinobi to have existed.
Anyway once Kakashi’s team is left alone, Rin gets captured. Kakashi decides to sacrifice her and do the mission first. Obito abandons Kakashi. His words about the White Fang were really deep. Still, Kakashi isn’t convinced for now.
After that, comes the emotional scene, really well done. Touched me even though I had already read it. If well made, anime can really surpass manga easily. Kakashi comes out to take revenge, with his new. He’s crying, just from that one eye.
Overall, very cool episode, the manga was well adapted. The second part was a little better than the first but, it’s expected because the second part had more fighting and a bigger budget was needed. Really tense and emotional with excellent fights, isn’t that what we love the Naruto series for?
The next episode will be back to the normal story-line. I hope some of the next episodes are near as good as this one, some awesome stuff is going to happen.
- Next Episode: Assemble

I thought it was interesting to learn that people can survive the right side of their bodies crushed for about 2-4 minutes.
