Death of the Undying
Mustang finally shows why he’s such a powerful alchemist, his technique, even though simple, is really dangerous.
Anyway, after getting rid of Gluttony. They take advantage of Barry invading Laboratory 5 so that they themselves can go there and investigate the place. Lust goes after them.
Basically, we learn that the humunculus are looking for people who have been to the truth gate. So, they confirm Al as a sacrifice. They consider Mustang to be a candidate too, still, she choses to eliminate them because they found out about it. But, Mustang manages to defeat her. Wrath appears too but, decides to not take action.
Now, the episode was awesome, probably the best yet, really intense. Still, I’m not satisfied, I don’t mean to start an anime/manga discussion but, I loved this part of the manga because it had, not one but, two intense situations happening at the same time. It really felt like everything was falling apart and characters were driven to their limits. But, the anime only shows Mustang’s part and does it with a few cuts. It was awesome, and I’m rating it with a 5 but, the manga was more than twice as good.
First, there’s no way that the Xing characters, being so close, wouldn’t take action. Next, they never send Gluttony alone, Envy should be with him. They just got rid of Gluttony and he doesn’t appear again, even though he’s still alive. And believe me, the part with the Xing characters and the other homunculus was as good as this one, I actually remember it as my favorite. Some other stuff was changed too, Ed was only supposed to see Xerxes after all this happened, not that it makes much of a difference.
I’m still pissed that the Xing character’s part was completely left out, important stuff happened, that I have no idea how they are going to explain it now. Maybe this will still happen in one of the next episodes.. hope so, it even appears in the OP..
Well, it was still an awesome episode, the art and animation was beautiful, really. Just hope they slow it down and take profit of the manga’s rich storyline.

well, just an update, the xing’s characters part is well and coming, it will happen in two episodes or so. i kind of confused things a little.
the only part that was cut was Fu fighting Envy
