Well, the scene that I talked about some time ago, was this episode’s first scene where Itachi says "looks like a storm is coming". Now, in this episode it’s only meaning is literal but, if this had been done right, like in the manga, it would have happened with Sasuke telling his group that they are going to hunt Itachi and at the same time Naruto and the others deciding to go after Itachi too. This means everyone was coming for Itachi, and just after that, Itachi would look in the sky and say "looks like a storm is coming". Get my point? lol it’s just a minor thing but, it’s these little details that really make a story richer and they kind of screwed that here.
Anyway, on to the episode, it starts really well. The art and animation is really good. The atmosphere and everything else is done right. Itachi and Kisame’s conversation was "improved" and extended from the manga but, in a good way. All of the Akatsuki scene was really cool and well done.
About the OP and new movie, just some thoughts. It’s looking better than most other movies. It looks dark and heavier on drama, it also seems to deal with a lot of characters past and has some conflicts. It really looks like this movie will be much more complex than the others, I hope they do it right.
So, the Hebi goes to an Uchiha hideout to stock on weapons, clothes and medicine. They are now ready for Itachi. Meanwhile, Konoha gets prepared too and, since it’s Itachi they are after, a really powerful platoon is being set.
Really nice episode, really well made, even though it was just a building up episode. Hope the next one is good, the preview felt strange.. lol
