Naruto Shippuuden - Episode 123
Clash!
Sasuke just demands info on Itachi, promising to "let them go" if they give it to him. Lol, knowing the two others came there willingly to take him down, Sasuke’s arrogance really pisses Deidara off. Through the episode will also learn about Deidara’s past and his story with the sharingan, and why he hates it so much.
We also get some hints at Tobi’s abilities. Anyway, Deidara and Sasuke fight, with some help from Tobi, there was some added stuff that didn’t appear in the manga. But, it was all really cool and well done. The episode was also fast paced and not in any way dragged.
The animation was incredible. I couldn’t even stop to take screens or write this like I many times do, I just had to watch it all through with no interruptions. Not only the fighting but, the characters were really livefull. And the ending reminded me of the first series where lots of episodes ended full of adrenaline in the middle of a fight, with really nice cliffhangers. This one was just like that.
The next episode goes back to the standard level of animation. And it seems just that, not anything to sub-par, although I can’t be sure. I hope the rest of the fight gets the quality it deserves.
Overall, this episode was awesome and every single shot looked beautiful. I think the pace was even faster than in the manga. Not much to say actually, it’s pure entertainment, not much to discuss about it.

oh sorry lol i misunderstood your question.
yep, the animation style is different but, that’s due to this episode having a bigger budget, more money, more people and more time to be worked on.
that’s basically why it’s better.
if you’re trying to find a name for the kind of animation.. not sure.. it’s kind of a normal style for big budget animations, it’s nothing really out of the ordinary, among things done with big productions

I know exactly how you feel Dakoda, I wish they animated all episodes this way. The animation shows so much more complexity, richness and movement. The big fight between Naruto and Sasuke way back then was animated like this as well. So was episode 82, the one after Asuma dies. I guess they just randomly appear out of nowhere
