Junas and the kid try to escape. Kagetora goes after them while Haruhiko is sent back to treat Lan. The kid is already powerful has she is, they can’t risk Riko getting to the wrong side and developing her powers.

About the dvd, it has no data now. What happened then? They have already changed the future so much that the event of the camera man filming the declaration didn’t happen. Whether it is because he died before shooting, the declaration didn’t happen, whatever, they have no idea now of what the future holds. But, it’s probably better than before.

Junas can’t shake Kagetora off and decides to try and defeat him. Because of that, he won’t be able to help Miroku with something. It seems Miroku needs to kill someone important, so he can meet some other one during the declaration of war, I think.. He’s not even sure he can do it so, he must be really powerful.

And so he meets Gregory’s first test subject, Grana. This is really interesting and unexpected. I had never though about it but, I would just guess Grana would be with Miroku from the start, like Junas.

So, whatever happens, somehow, they will remain on the same side. Not sure what it means that in the future Grana is the 1st Start Comander and Miroku is, well I don’t what he is. So, I’m not sure of what will happen, can’t wait.

By the way, anyone else got reminded of 20th Century Boy’s Friend?

Devil, Devil, Devil, Devil

"Honestly, do ya get beat half to death every damn place you go?" lol Ichigo, the "half-shinigami", will serve as text subject for Mayuri’s new use of the Garganta.

So, Byakuya and Kenpachi will be taking Ichigo’s fight. Kenpachi is looking cool and doesn’t seem to be having much trouble dealing with Yammi but, I doubt that’s all Yammi has.

Anyway, they convince Ichigo to go save his town. He’s going with Unohana but, Inoue is the one really needed. Not sure Unohana can save Hiyori.

Mayuri was really funny, coming second to Kenpachi of course lol. Every character was awesome in dialog in this chapter.

Sakura’s Confession

So, this chapter’s not about the Raikage’s brother fight yet. Rather, Naruto’s friends have arrived and Sakura is going to say the so important thing to release Naruto. Basically, she confesses her love for him but, right now, it doesn’t really make much sense and Naruto see’s it too. Not sure why Sakura needed to lie about that to get him to break his promise. Still, Naruto acts really cool. Sakura is looking bad right now.

Meanwhile Danzou, Fuu and Torune continue escaping. Ao is still following them. They manage to get him with a strange and really bad jutsu. They now have his body and removing eyes won’t probably do him any good. At least he won’t have to suffer through it. I hope he got something up his sleeve.

Still at the meeting, the alliance is finally formed, not including Konoha for now, and the Kazekage is selected as the leader.

Nice chapter, I liked hearing Naruto say that.

The Fallen Meteor

The OP’s so so. I kind of liked but, it seemed weird at the same time. Anyway, Hei mistakes Suou for Shion and asks her for the meteor core. But, before he can realize it, an assassin appears. This girl seems to have more than one power. She and BK get in a draw while Suou manages to escape. All of her friend’s memories have been erased and she can only count with Nika, who escaped too.

It seems Hei is working for the CIA now, as a mercenary. Suou uses her photos to try and get some info on Hei. He then appears to her and finally understands she’s not Shion. The military appears too and also April’s group. Then, Youko’s group appears too lol.

The fight scenes were awesome. Hei, yet again, kills another tough contractor. He really seems unbeatable. Youko’s group capture him in the end and something weird happens. Suou’s protection amulet has some strange effect and she sees Hei’s memories.

Not sure of what will happen to them now but, it doesn’t seem like they are trying to kill Hei. Somewhere else, a girl who I’m supposed to remember from the first series is seen witnessing BK-201 disappearance. Not sure what this means. Maybe that "force field" just took his powers or something.

Really nice episode, I’m loving the series right now and it seems better than the first.

CANAAN

This anime started has a first episode with some really nice animated action and big number of potentially interesting characters. Not everything excelled but, all in all this series turned out pretty good and above average. I watched it first for the action but, the show ended up deepening it’s characters a lot and the last episodes, specially the ending, were what made this anime really good.

I didn’t find any of the characters annoying and started liking some of them a lot in the end. I specially liked the two antagonists’ story, even though it can only be (partially) understood in the end lol.

This series has some humor and lots of cool action scenes, even though short. As for the drama, I only really liked it in the end, the stuff happening between Canaan and Alphard, the rest wasn’t really that interesting but, never boring too. What’s important, e

Bottom line, started as an above average action series, that ended up delivering fully with a really nice ending.

Finally the ending left me optimistic that if there’s ever a sequel, it will much better and more mature and got me interested in checking the original Wii visual novel, although it probably wont ever be made available in English :( There’s also a manga out there, probably a direct adaptation of the anime, not sure.

On what I can definitely check, there’s 3 rumored CANAAN movies to come. I’ll post more on it once I know :)

Land Of Hope

The train explodes. Canaan feels it and gets shocked but, only for some moments. She changes drastically after that. She finally understands how to do what Siam was telling her about. He was talking about how to use her synesthesia to it’s full capabilities. Alphard understands this and feels like she can see through her. She finally gets nervous and the battle shifts. Canaan is now in control.

A helicopter from the Snakes comes to get Alphard. She and Canaan fight their way to the top of the train. Canaan manages to get Alphard under her control. She says she finally understands Alphard’s color, it’s like she’s dead, since the moment she killed Siam. Alphard finally understands how she trully feels. She’s done the Flower Garden project in an attempt to become closer to Siam, since his work in creating Canaan is similar.

She then decides to stop it and "kills" herself, not letting Canaan save her. She’s probably to far down in her mind state to be able to just shift it quickly like Canaan did. After that, everyone goes back to their normal lives, separated but, together at the same time. The action scenes were awesome and very well animated.

It ends with everyone moving on with their lives in a mix of happiness and sadness, more happiness lol. Cummings is seen alive, joining some monks. Even Alphard is alive too, not sure how she’s going to continue her life. Yunyun continues with her jobs, promising to meet everyone again. Maria proceeds with her photographer carrer. Canaan continues her job.

This anime has a really nice final message, to cherish your life, memories and friends, remember them and mature through life. Love the final shot with both "Canaans".

After the ending, Canaan is shown, still on the same work with Natsume, older, her hair grown into a pony tail. She’s asked to kill a hard target, a woman with one arm. Not sure what this ending meant, not sure Canaan got who it was. I doubt this serves as a reason for a sequel, if there’s ever one, I think it will be related with something else. Anyway, really nice and complete episode.

I loved the first season. Even though completely different, it reminded me somehow of Cowboy Bebop in style, one of my favorite animes. It was a really nice anime with stylish music, lots of interesting characters and awesome fight scenes, what’s there not to like?

Right now I don’t remember the plot very well anymore and I remember not liking the ending much. Still, I couldn’t pass this one up, specially after all the really good criticism it has been receiving.

It starts following Suou, showing her brother becoming a contractor and her current days at school. She does a nice job of introducing new people to Darker Than Black. Anyway, a friend of hers suddenly becomes a contractor. The military comes to get her and Shion too. April has been working undercover with Shion’s father. She tries to bring Shion back but he disappears. Suddenly her intel states someone wearing a mask is inside the house. Could it be?

The mysterious guy kills the professor before April or the Military get to him. April escapes with Suou and fights a contractor from the military. The fight was really nice. April is really strong. Not sure what she did but, it was some kind of water or snow bullets.

She’s then caught by none other than BK201. She tries drowning him but, he kills her. Not sure if something is different about him, bullets didn’t harm him. I’m really sad April died, I really liked her character.

The art and animation were really good. The quick fights were well planned and executed. Everything felt right. Even Suou’s normal day life was entertaining to watch.

Awesome first episode and it still feels like a small portion of what’s coming, can’t wait to watch the rest.

The Gate Is Opened

Fuu is dead, Bradley tries to take Ling and himself down but, with the soldiers and Lan Fan’s help, they manage to save him. Ling becomes really freaked out, he offers his stone’s powers to anyone there who can use it to save Fuu and Buccaneer but, nobody can. Before dying, Buccaneer asks Ling to help protect the entrance, as his troops can’t fight any longer. He asks Greed to give him all his power and proceeds to killing everyone. Buccaneer then dies peacefully.

Meanwhile, Ed, Al and Izumi are brought before "Father". He has won against Honheime. He counts 4 sacrifices so I guess that means Honheime is one too. But, he needs five. Elsewhere, the mad doctor is forcing Mustang to open the gate but, Mustang knows it’s impossible for it to work and even so, he wouldn’t do it. Then, they kill Riza.. I’m not sure she’s dead but, if not, she’ll die with the next couple seconds. No idea what Mustang will do.

Another huge problem, they’ve been very casually yelling for Al to wake up.. Al has never been non waked up, since he become a soul in an armor. He’s not there, could he have been finally rejected from the armor? Could he gotten trapped in his way, he will maybe be able to find his body..

Anyway, things are bad right now, can’t wait for the next one.
