Tatakau Shisho - The Book Of Bantorra - Episode 8
A Pond, Comrades & a Seashell
Continuing Enlike’s story, Qumola actually decides to do something, after Enlike kills the fifth one. She tries to kill him but, she stops after seeing how depressed he is about it. Still, he wants him to die. Her intervention finally makes him accept how he truly feels about all that and he tries to quit, of course he can’t. Meanwhile, all the other kids revolt against Baramotte and he kills them all. Enlike then kills Baramotte.
Of course, Qumola completely flips with this and Enlike decides to put her out of her misery. Meanwhile, things start making more sense. It seems Zatoh easts books, the souls of the ones eaten becoming prisoners inside him. He can also use the magic powers and abilitys of the one’s he’s eaten. He was evil from the start, Enlike just managed to take control of him for some time.
It would be almost impossible for Noloty to take Zatoh out alone, with all the powers he has. But, Enlike, who seems to have some freedom inside of him, starts "killing" all the others, freeing them and preventing Zatoh from using them. I’m not sure how this Book Eaters’ work but, Enlike manages to switch places for good with Zatoh, taking over his body. He also makes his peace with all of his part "friends" and Qumola.
I wonder if will become a Librarian and if he can still use all the powers inside of him. Anyway, really nice episode. I really enjoyed this arc’s ending. I’m looking forward to seeing how this series will end.
I think the next episode deals with Ganbanzel. It would seem he’s not just some powerless old-man creating monsters to fight for him. It also doesn’t seem like Enlike will remain with Noloty.
