Naruto Shippuuden - Episode 140

Fate

Naruto Shippuuden 140

I’ll keep this one breef since I’ve already talked about all this in the manga posts. So, Madara tells most stuff to Sasuke. How Konoha was founded, Madara betrayed, the Uchiha discriminated, the Uchiha planning rebellion, Itachi chosen to spy them. There’s still some stuff to be told, about how it all proceed but, the basic is here, it’s not hard to imagine what happened next.

The anime did a nice job of bringing the manga to screen. The whole symbol enhancements and everything were cool. I was thinking they would maybe try to create parts of the fights, specially the last one between Hashirama and Madara. I was thinking this afraid they would completely ruin it (like they normally do) and excitement at the possibility that they would make something awesome, since the recent quality has been so high.

Naruto Shippuuden 140

Awesome episode, even though the art wasn’t that great, nothing was overplayed or delayed. The next episode should have the story end and Sasuke’s decision about all this made known. Can’t wait for the next arcs.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode 36

Family Portrait

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 36

So, as expected, it’s time for Hohenheim’s past. We finally get to see his relation ship with Trisha and his kids. Also why he left, related to trying and revers his situation back into being a normal human so he could live normally and die with his family.

Back to Briggs’, another Homunculus appears and kills the men investigating the hole. Raven manages to get Olivia’s "alliance". They put Sloth back into digging and cover the hole.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 36

Armstrong ends up killing Raven. She’s planning to continue deceiving the military and become one of the "chosen" ones but, without Raven’s help. Now, Kimblee can act independently. He brings Winry to Briggs in order to get Ed’s automail working, so he can help him, and also to keep the brothers under control. Meanwhile, Armstrong is already arranging things with Mustang.

Nice episode, nice to see Armstrong not just following every order and still managing to be badass while pretending to follow Central’s command.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 36

Next episode will probably have more action. And we are going to find out about this new homunculus, who’s supposedly the first one Father made.

Tatakau Shisho - The Book Of Bantorra - Episode 8

A Pond, Comrades & a Seashell

Tatakau Shisho - The Book Of Bantorra 8

Continuing Enlike’s story, Qumola actually decides to do something, after Enlike kills the fifth one. She tries to kill him but, she stops after seeing how depressed he is about it. Still, he wants him to die. Her intervention finally makes him accept how he truly feels about all that and he tries to quit, of course he can’t. Meanwhile, all the other kids revolt against Baramotte and he kills them all. Enlike then kills Baramotte.

Of course, Qumola completely flips with this and Enlike decides to put her out of her misery. Meanwhile, things start making more sense. It seems Zatoh easts books, the souls of the ones eaten becoming prisoners inside him. He can also use the magic powers and abilitys of the one’s he’s eaten. He was evil from the start, Enlike just managed to take control of him for some time.

Tatakau Shisho - The Book Of Bantorra 8

It would be almost impossible for Noloty to take Zatoh out alone, with all the powers he has. But, Enlike, who seems to have some freedom inside of him, starts "killing" all the others, freeing them and preventing Zatoh from using them. I’m not sure how this Book Eaters’ work but, Enlike manages to switch places for good with Zatoh, taking over his body. He also makes his peace with all of his part "friends" and Qumola.

I wonder if will become a Librarian and if he can still use all the powers inside of him. Anyway, really nice episode. I really enjoyed this arc’s ending. I’m looking forward to seeing how this series will end.

Tatakau Shisho - The Book Of Bantorra 8

I think the next episode deals with Ganbanzel. It would seem he’s not just some powerless old-man creating monsters to fight for him. It also doesn’t seem like Enlike will remain with Noloty.

Senbonzakura’s Bankai!
Offense and Defense of the Living World

Bleach 249

Muramasa has a hard time with Sado and Ishida. He’s only able to do something when he gets Senbonzakura’s help. Inoue manages to reach Muramasa and save the other two. Still, he gets mad again. Anyway, he manages to reach the tree and breaks the seal. A giant coffin like thing appears, coolly made with weapons going through it. Then, Kouga comes out.

Ichigo arrives late, once Kouga is already out. It doesn’t seem like there’s much left to happen, except for Byakuya’s intentions to be known and Kouga defeated so, I hope this arc doesn’t take much more episodes to finish.

Bleach 249

The Soul Society part, right now, only seems to be wasting our time in pointless fights and conclusions.

Week episode, didn’t enjoy it much. Senbouzakura looked really week against Ishida and the fights weren’t entertaining at all. They could have done much better. The animation and art weren’t much too, just average. What I actually liked was Kouga’s "design", he looked really cool and actually creepy.

Bleach 249

Next episode will deal with Byakuya’s reasons, among other stuff.

The Mystery Of Tobi

Naruto Shippuuden 139

Back to the Konoha Platoons, Tobi "dodges" all attacks. They realize something is wrong and that Tobi must have some unique ability. So, it’s time for Shino to force Tobi into using his technique openly so they can try and figure it out.

They do, and Tobi disappears. He’s not the Fourth’s body-flicker jutsu which functions through time-space, like a summoning. And the bugs would still have followed him to wherever he went. More, he didn’t even use any seals. It’s like inane ability of his body, to just disappear.. somewhere.. Anyway, he appears again, so does Zetsu. He reports it’s over, Sasuke won. Everybody’s shocked, except Tobi, he was already expecting it. He changes to his real voice and they head to Sasuke. Naruto almost got Zetsu angry with his comment but, failed to keep him there with it. Now, they have to reach Sasuke too, before the others.

Naruto Shippuuden 139

Back to Sasuke, Zetsu gets funny lol. Hadn’t really thought about it but, Tobi’s real voice fits well. It kind of reminds me of Danzou too. Anyway, he brings Sasuke in to tell him something important about Itachi. Sasuke gets "hostile" and attacks him with Amaterasu! Not even Tobi was expecting this one. The truth is, there’s something completely different behind all that’s happened. Itachi didn’t want Sasuke to know more than the version he told him. He also tried to protect him, not just by giving him his mangekyou but, even implementing an automatic Amaterasu against Tobi. He was already expecting Tobi to come and try telling the truth to Sasuke. But, luckily for Tobi, Itachi didn’t have enough intel on Tobi to do it correctly. Tobi lives, and Sasuke is about to find out everything.

Another awesome episode. The animation wasn’t much and that was noticeable against Tobi but, it wasn’t a scene important for the action and it still did it’s purpose very well. As for the art, it was very cool for the most part.

Naruto Shippuuden 139

It seems like Sasuke will find out some pretty horrible stuff. The preview also shows Tobi’s Fuumetsu Mangekyou (the ultimate mangekyou) in Sasuke’s eyes.. don’t know what that’s all about.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode 35

The Shape of This Country

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 35

They finish getting Sloth out of Briggs, didn’t remember this happening anymore, I thought he would just go back to digging. Ed and Al learn about Scar being North.

Meanwhile, Kimblee gets a taste of how things work in Briggs. Sending Miles to talk to him was awesome, he even used the fact that he’s half Ishbalan to his advantage. Anyway, Raven appears, he has brought the mad doctor (which looks similar to D.Gray Man’s Earl lol) and Kimblee will be up in no time.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 35

Armstrong arranges so that Ed and Al can finally talk to her. They tell her everything and with Falman’s help, they realize Father’s plan. He created Amestris with the sole purpose of making one giant alchemy circle. They are the ones who forced Amestris to develop and expand into the neighbor countries. The various battles taken place have also been used to gather people in certain points of the alchemy circle. The next one is Briggs..

They take the chance of Raven coming to help Kimblee and decide to trick him. Armstrong basically plays like one of those superiors, wanting immortality. Raven falls for it and is now considering to make her join the rest of the upper echelon in Central.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 35

Nice episode, lots of answers. Not the most exciting but, definitely some major developments. The next one seems to continue on Raven’s plan to bring Armstrong and introduce Briggs to their "biological" weapon. By the way, awesome that they made a reference to the first, filler, episode.

Bleach - Episode 248

Dragon of Ice and Dragon of Flame!
The Strongest Showdown!

Bleach 248

Muramasa leaves a wall of fire trapping our heros. Not sure why, probably just to annoy them and us. It’s the kind of thing that only happens in fillers. Anyway, on to Karakura Town, at least, even Muramasa understands Byakuya’s "pride" is a pretty strange reason to do whatever he’s doing.

In Soul Society, they understand Muramase is going to the real world and need to escape. Still, they end up having to fight the zanpakutou anyway, which feels pointless now. Anyway, back to Muramasa’s story again, once again, in the past, a shinigami went against Seireitei and they then sealed him. Not sure he was very strong but, his zanpakutou’s abilities made it hard to fight. Anyway, so they did but, somehow Muramasa gained a body, and now wants to break the seal, return to his master.

Bleach 248

Muramasa gets to the place where his master was sealed and Orihime appears. He tries to fight her but fails miserably. Come on, they can no longer stop him? He’s so weak right now, he couldn’t even defeat Orihime. Anyway, he collapses and she heals him lol. Then Sado and Ishida appear and things complicate. Meanwhile, Hitsugaya finally comes back and helps Ichigo escape the fire prison.

Nice episode, some stupid filler stuff, the fights weren’t exciting at all but, the new developments on Karakura were nice, I hope Ishida and Sado already have the powers they did when the main arc stopped. It’s also always nice to see Yoruichi’s sexiness. But overall, kind of a week episode.

Bleach 248

In the next episode, it seems to at least deal with Yoruichi’s fight, as well as Ishida and Sado against Muramasa and his two guards.

Naruto Shippuuden - Episode 138

Demise

Naruto Shippuuden 138

The intro scene was mostly stuff that we had already scene, still awesome though. On to it, Sasuke uses his super powerful last technique. Itachi manages to survive only because of Susano, the final sharingan technique, that not even Sasuke new about.

He forces Sasuke to use the cursed seal and the leftovers from Orochimaru break free. He gains access to his body and tries to kill Itachi. But, Itachi also has Totsuka, a sword that seals anything it touches in a gengutsu for all eternity (scary!). Now that I think about it, taking aside being about to die, Itachi, in this moment, holding his weapons, could be the strongest character to ever appear in Naruto..

Naruto Shippuuden 138

Itachi finally reaches his supposed final objective but, he just blabers something we can’t hear to Sasuke, smiles and dies, poking his head, just like did affectionately in the past. Sasuke smiles too of exhaustion, he completed his objective. Itachi also kills Orochimaru who was still trying to escape alive (this guy lol). Anyway, Sasuke wins but, what was all that? :p you’ll have to wait to know.

Awesome episode once again. Wasn’t expecting above average animation once again. Everything was awesome, really, can’t imagine this being portrayed from the manga any better.

Naruto Shippuuden 138

Not sure the next episode will get to Sasuke right away. It will be back to Naruto and we are going to finally get a real glimpse at Tobi’s abilities, which have been subtly let out till now. Like when Sasuke run his sword through him and he just got up again.
