Candy Boy

Not much to say about this anime. It was a short but really nice one. It’s all about cuteness, shoujo-ai and yuri, all with great art in short episodes.

Really light anime that will surely cheer anyone up lol

Theory Of Happiness Sharing

Candy Boy EX02

So, this episode ended up being nothing much in terms of plot. Just another day with the two sisters.

This time, Saku invites the three sisters to a poll. Her plan is to take some photos of Kana in her swimsuit.

Candy Boy EX02

Anyway, general cuteness happens with some nice laughs. Not much to say, much like every other episode but, kind of lighter, without any drama.

It was a nice watch. Really nice series, makes you feel nice lol and perverted :p

Candy Boy - Episode 7

Cherry Blossoms..?

Candy Boy 7

Well, it seems the Yuri goodness has come to an end.. wait, fear not, it seems there’s still one final episode coming in DVD on June 24th. Also, this "last" episode comprises a total of 20 minutes!

Kana faces some issues, because she thinks Yuki is always making sacrifices for her, and she also expects it at some level. Now that she’s truly realized it, she feels bad. All of this is then related to the fact that they need money and time to work/study which won’t allow them to be together as much as before. All in all, minor problems, like in the past episodes, that this two characters make to be worse than they really are, all in a very cute manner, because all they want is just to be together forever lol

Candy Boy 7

Saku-chan, cute as always, asks Kana to fail a year so she can stay with her.. lol Shi comes to visit the two other sisters like I was expecting. The scene when they discuss about the beds and who sleeps where was just perfect, really the peak of what this show offers. I really have no experience watching this kind of anime but, I can’t imagine nothing cuter and funnier than this at the same time.

Anyway, about the whole issue, Saku and Shi ends up being the ones cheering up Kana. Kana then decides to change her plans for the future so their relationship can work better and apologize to Yuki. In this last scene, the two sister end up kind of kissing. Well, something like this could be expected to happen, it’s kind of been building up to it.

Candy Boy 7

About the production, this episode seemed to have far more still shots than normal, probably because of being such a big episode compared to the others. Still, the art was just awesomely beautiful and the stills instead of minor animation don’t really make a difference.

So, this "final" episode ended all the current issues, everyone was happy, Yuki and Kana finally kissed and their future seems well planned to their liking. Not sure what the special episode being released on DVD will be about, it will probably take place in some time in the future, not sure though. I’ll be waiting for that episode before I give this series as finished.

What Lies Beyond

Candy Boy 6

Once again, cuteness abounds as Kana and Yuki discuss minor life stuff.

For whatever the reason, they have to change dorms and Saku takes the chance to live with Kana. It was really funny seeing trying to make Kana live with her.

Candy Boy 6

Shi is let down knowing Kana will be spending spring break at school. I think she will come visit them, because it was strange of her to accept it so quickly.

Although this episode wasn’t as intimate physically as the last, they discuss their future together and seem happy knowing that both believe they can stick together forever.

Candy Boy 6

Anyway, nice episode. Less happened than usual but, still really funny and cute, which is all that could be expected from this anime.

This anime ends with the next release, I’m wondering if something special will be made for the ending or if it will be just another episode.

Ah… mm!

Candy Boy 5

This episode revolved around Valentine’s Day.

Actually, almost nothing really happened. There wasn’t really any plot at all, just dealing with Saku and school stuff.

Still, this episode was really good. If you enjoy watching Candy Boy, all the main reasons to do so are on this episode.

The sweetness and relaxed nature of the anime really shows here, along with some funny and silly moments.

Kana and Yuki end up doing some more intimate stuff than usual. Also, others start noticing this.

This could be the beginning to Kana and Yuki deciding and accepting their real relationship.

Overall, very nice and enjoyable episode. The art continues gorgeous as always.

This episode continues dealing with Shi’s issues and the fact that, because of her age, she feels distant to her sisters who are always together.

Because of this, their Christmas is looking rather depressive. Saku tries to cheer Kana but, ends up just causing some funny accidents. Although I’m liking Saku more now, she’s being more of a funny character and less of an anoying one.

Yuki gets some time alone with Shi and Shi lets it all out for the first time. Yuki talks with her and makes her understand they still love her all that stuff lol. Shi manages to feel better after their conversation. Later she talks with both sisters and everything becomes fine.

The art was awesome as always. Some scenes and backgrounds in this episode had a more different feel than the previous ones, although it could just be me, and I really liked the colors used in this episode.

Overall, a cool more dramatic episode, very well done.

Still not sure if this series will have a more important plot or event happening or if it will just end as if it never started but, anyway, it’s still nice to watch.

The Insurmountable Obstacle

Saku comes to make the trip more funny and interesting. She actually goes all out and mentions lesbian stuff directly for the first time. The nosebleed was funny, wasn’t expecting to see that on a female character.

Saku is taken by surprise when she arrives at the twin’s home town. Then, a third sister appears, Shi. She’s younger than the other two and doesn’t seem very happy to see her two sisters being so close with each other.

Shi seems to have a crush on Yuki.. So, it’s Yuki and Kana wanting each other (at some deeper level lol) and Shi wanting Yuki, while Saku likes Kana.

The rest of the family leaves because of an accident, it’s not this time that a male character is gonna be introduced.

 Candy Boy 3

Yuki-chan, as always, has some interesting christma’s sweet distribution theories lol.

Then again, I’m not sure if Shi really has something more than a sisters feeling for Yuki, it could just be that they get along better. Anyway, she’s kind of depressed for being away from her sisters while they manage to stay together. It’s the first episode with some more serious drama.

I’m pretty curious to see the next episode.

Can I Have This please?

Not much to talk about really. This episode had Kana and Yuki finding their presents for Christmas.

It was basically a short slice of life, without much actual plot. It explored Kana’s feelings about how they always got the same present for Christmas, an habit that disappeared with time. Now, Kana wants them to have the same present.

They end up wasting the money they had to travel. Now they have to depend on Sakuya who takes advantage of this to travel with them too. This should make the next episode interesting.

Still, it was really nice, just like the two previous episodes.

It’s hard to explain, why I liked this episode, more than I already did in the previous episodes.

So, it’s more of the same, with all it’s qualities. If you enjoyed the other two, you’re going to enjoy this one.
