Jio Freed 

I finally read the final chapter of 666 Satan. Franky-House had already scanlated this back in December and I didn’t know.. shame on me..

Miko has been eliminated and the previous program takes control of Shin. It activates the Freedom Program. What’s this?

This new program starts Armageddon again. Satan has taken control and Jio is trapped inside him. Satan is thinking of doing the Armageddon thing and then moving to another planet where he can reign supreme.

The story behind everything is finally explained by Lucifer, Satan. The beings from another planet, Eden, were trying to create eternal energy. Since everything is a continuous cycle of energy created with the Big Bang, then controlling it, would allow them to know everything.

An organization called Solomon was created with 72 scientists. The Kabbalah served as way of storing information into the zephilots. This zephilots eventually changed their appearances matching the kind of information they stored.

Eden was consumed by the Kabbalah and oly the scientists survived. Lucifer tried to obtain the power of the 1st zephilot of the Reverse Kabbalah. He used 666 living beings to avoid being consumed himself, but still lost his body. He then killed all the other scientist except two who were already expecting his actions.

Adam and Eve had created another system for storing information, the Freedom. Lucifer tried to break into it but got sealed inside and Freedom took the form of what is now Jio Freed.

Lucifer tries to take Jio’s body and convince mankind to follow his desires, but Jio is  stronger and delivers a more important message and gets people to follow his will. I think Lucifer did this so that people would unconsciously give him the energy he wanted. But, Jio shows him that real energy comes from good feelings and the relations between people. This was the power that Lucifer was actually looking for.

Jio uses that energy to drive Shin away to a planet that can be consumed without killing any creatures. So, he and the other recipes are gone forever.

The story shifts to the future where Ball and Mei tell their children the story about Jio and Ruby.

So, it’s finally over. I didn’t like this ending very much, but I don’t think it was bad either. Overall it was a really cool series to follow. I’m now curious at to how the anime adaptation will turn out and what’s the author going to work on now. 

Zekuto relives his memories and shares them with Ruby. We finally know why Zekuto decided to betray Stea and how he got Ruby.

Having taken all the recipes except Satan, Shin begins to engulf the whole world and capturing everything from trees to animals, to people. As everything looks lost, Kujaku returns truly mastering his father sword style and being able to cut through Shin’s "tentacles". Although, he supposedly is dead and I don’t know what is powering him.

It seems the last time that everything on Earth got destroyed and all the records of Satan started was because of Satan, being so powerful and uncontrollable, managed to not be captured by Shin and so everything got destroyed instead of merging into one. Probably only a small group of people survived all around the world. This way, I don’t get how all the other recipes still exist. Shouldn’t they have been destroyed? Maybe they are always born again after the Kabbalah fuse.

Now, Jio will be absorbed on purpose to try to defeat Miko, so that maybe everything stops. It’s cool to hear Jio talking about world domination after so much time.

Inside the Kabbalah, Jio goes to fight Miko. She states that the body he is seeing is made of spiritual energy and cannot be cut by Zero’s giant blade. But the fact that she can see this blade, means she can be cut by it.

After Miko is defeated, Satan emerges from Jio and takes a hold of his body, stating that the world is his now. It seems like he was just waiting for someone to get ride of the Kabbalah, because he couldn’t do it himself and had to run away in case the two Kabbalah started to merge.

If Satan has completely taken over Jio, them maybe the last battle for Humanity is still going to happen between Satan and all the others. It would be an emotional ending if all of Jio’s friends have to kill him. After all, he is the one who saved them.

The next chapter is probably going to be the finale. That way the last volume of the series would be complete with 4 chapters just like all the other volumes.

This chapter starts with a flashback of Ruby when her father was leaving her. He already had one of the nucleus in his body at that time.

The fight between Jio and Zekuto starts. Zekuto shows his power by using a lot of attacks from all the different elements at the same time. To counter this, Jio finally gives some use to the O-Part stuck on his left hand. As Jio finally lands one hit, another plot-twist happens as Baku is actually Amatersu Miko and she catches the legendary O-Part.

Miko talks about Zekuto past. He really had forgotten he had a child.

Miko puts the two legendary O-Parts together and the two Kabbalah beginne to fuse together. As they fuse, they take some strange shapes similar to the various stages of an human egg multiplying. They do this while kind of fitting into Shin. Shin supposedly is the "Noah’s Ark" that brought the Kabbalah through space.

As the Kabbalah merge, everyone will supposedly fuse together with it, giving away their physical forms. All becoming one with the universe. This kind of reminds me o Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Shin first starts capturing the recipes and seems like none of the recipes abilities can do anything to counter Shin, it must be the way they were meant to be. Only Jio can absorve Shin’s "tentacles" but it’s to much and neverending. As Zekuto and Ruby are caught, Zekuto finally remembers Ruby and fulfills their pinky thing promise.

I don’t see how this can end happily. If the two Kabbalah are meant to take everything, then there is no escape. Maybe Jio, being the strongest demon will be able to do something, but Cross is the strongest angel and he is worthless right now.. Maybe someone or something related to the Blue Planet will appear and save them.

So, I was going to start blogging this series as soon as the next chapter was released. But it seems the next chapter will be the end of the series. Because of that and the fact that the last chapter is taking forever to be scanlated, I decided to blog some of the previous chapters.

This chapter starts light with some humor. But things quickly become serious.  All the characters except Jio, Zero and Jin, reunite and arrive at the Zenon’s Leader place. Ruby recongnises her father as the leader of Zenon, but he doesn’t admit he’s her father. As Ruby gets emotional all the others character get pissed off by Zenon’s leader, Zekuto, and turn to him. Zekuto prepares to take all of them.

Zekuto shows us a some of his powers by instantly taking Cross out of the picture and robing him of his nuclei.

Zekuto explains that the Kaballah either is a parasite that consumes worlds and their information or something like the Noa ship sent from the dying Blue Planet in order to preserve all their information.

The fighting eventually begins and Jio, Zero and Jin join the rest of the group. Although the combined recipe of Zekuto seem impossible to counter Jio is able to consume all the attacks with his devil hand.

Although I liked this chapter, I was expecting something much butter and excitable, being this the final arc and all.
