The Bond Once Again

Back to Qilin Realm. Their members perform some kind of weird ritual where they make some mystickers absorb another and they then eat the mystickers.. Not sure of it all lol.

Anyway, they have some kind of plan going to start next. And it has something to do with Daichi’s brother who is still kept alive with them.

Meanwhile, Daichi decides to go to the Guardian’s Section XI. But, it seems his mysticker is ruined so, they will go see an artisan first. This scene was enjoyable and had some funny moments. I think Daichi’s mysticker got cut because of Daichi’s excessive power.

So, they meet Saki, her mother and her father Gen, also known as Godhand. Gen has decided long ago to never have anything to do with mystickers again. Probably because his son died as a Guardian. Anyway, when his sick wife mistakes Daichi for the lost son, they accept to fix the mysticker if Daichi stays with them for some days.

At dinner, Daichi remembers his family and gets confused too ending up calling Suzu his mother.

Anyway, Saki tells them their story. His brother died because of an accident with a mysticker his father fixed. That’s why his father lost all his confidence in his skill, and probably feels guilty for his own son’s death. As for the mother, she doesn’t have much time so they want her to die happily thinking her son his back.

While walking in the street, Daichi finds out that the mysticker that killed Jin was a fake, and the one Godhand fixed is still working well. It belongs to the current race’s champion. Well, this all happened to coincidently, it also seems like Jin’s death is pretty much common knowledge..

Anyway, Daichi goes on the race to win back the mysticker. The only real competition seems to be the current champion and some strange blazer that uses something like inline’s to race.

Well, this chapter had may flaws. It wasn’t really that enjoayble and the plot is kind of bad. The way things happen.. it’s just to unreal and it seems like anything could have happened as long as the author wants it. I have to say, that Seishi really doesn’t have much skill as a mangaka when compared to his brother Masashi.

At least, the race, not sure why, looks quite promising.

Returnable Place

From the surprise mystickers comes a monster that feeds from Blazer’s strength. Most of them are being eaten. That was the purpose of this whole attack, to gather a lot of strong Guardians so the monster could take care of them.

Daichi manages to survive Kain until his Blazer Drive mode wears off. He then used a real powered up electricity attack that took Kain out. The fight continued to analyze Kain’s mentality and how Daichi was once like him. Not to say that it was badly done but, this things is boring me, I mean, Naruto and 666 Satan already did all this. It’s like the author is using exactly the same formula to write the character development part. It’s very repetitive.

If I had to guess, I would say Kain will end up becoming a good character, kind of like Gaara and Sasuke on Naruto. Like some anti-hero, at least it seems predictable, because Kain seemed to have changed his mind and will now try to follow Daichi’s path.

Back at HQ, they figure that the best way to make an attack reach the creature’s point of origin would be to use eletricity, because it would run down through it’s entire body. Daichi arrives just in time to do it.

The mysticker is deactivated. Another Blazer from Qilin Realm appears. He recovers the mysticker and goes away. He had the fire Kakutan and he wants to fight Daichi in 24h.

Some more questions about Qilin Realm pop up and it seems not anyone can just use a Kakutan.

Misora is to tired. Daichi, with Tamamayu now, is going to fight Kane alone. Meanwhile, Kuroki uses another dark mysticker to amplify his sword powers. Shuga connects all the shadows around him and kind of transforms into a powerful monster. Kuroki manages to stop him by removing all piercings in his body. Shuga is finished for now, he uses a mysticker that acts together with a similar one he had already used.

The effect of the mysticker is actually mistaken by Tenjik and Yuyuka’s appearance, who just came from their fight. I really thought Shuga would be able to escape but, Kuroki along with Tenjik and Yuyuka manages to get him. They kill him and the black Kakutan stays with them. I’m not sure but, it seems Shuga was using the black Kakutan with some kind of downside to it. At least, judging from what he said. Anyway, one supposedly main villain is gone already. If the other Kakutan users are just like these, except for the Kakutan unique abilities, I don’t it will be hard for the Guardians to fight them.

Kaine is starting to sound a lot like Gaara from Naruto, anyway, the fight continues. Through emotion pain, Kane reaches a new temporary level that Blazers can acquire. It’s called Blazer Drive. So the title wasn’t just something related to the blazer word with a cool sounding. Kane will now get super strong. Maybe Daichi will end up reaching Blazer Drive too.

Right now I’m still not very interested in Daichi’s fight but, I hope it improves with this new developments. Right now, I’m more interested in the mysticker Shuga left behind and all the mysteries surrounding Qilin Realm.

The Light That Pierces Through The Darkness

One battle over, all the blazer’s fighting bugs are now released. I hope the next fight improves on this one.

So, it’s time for my most anticipated battle, Kuroki vs Shuga. So Kuroki figures how his black kakutan works. The battle was cool, I think this mangaka has much more skill doing body-to-body close battles than power based ones.

Meanwhile, Daichi manages to power up his electricity mysticker enough so that even Kane’s guitar can’t absorv it. That one of the reason’s they are after Daichi, it seems he’s special in some way that allows him to use a mysticker beyond it’s limits when a normal person would need some kind of amplifier.

Both Daichi and Kuroki come to a hard spot but, Misora arrives just in time, Daichi now has his Tamamayu again. Kuroki also reveals a new ability of his sword.

For now, it’s been kind of disappointing, I’ve only really felt interest in Kuroki’s fight.

The Pride Of A Woman

Kuroki manages to relate Shuga’s ability with shadows, now he knows where he can appear and use it to his advantage.

Meanwhile, Misora finds out more about her mysticker. It’s a summon-type. The book has a mind and personality of his own. He can eat certain things, like mysticker powers, analyze them and then release them. To release one, the user must draw it’s picture.

Misora’s drawing skills fall short lol but, in the end she manages to win.

The fight was entertaining enough but, it could have been better and more serious. Instead of all that men-vs-women childish talk.

At least it didn’t drag. Now I’m curious to see how Kuroki and Daichi are doing.

Despair Gives Courage To A Coward

Well, finally someone decides to translate the title of the chapter lol

Daichi continues dodging Kaine. He’s still waiting for Tamamayu in order to fight.

Misora is heading towards Daichi but, gets intercepted by Danji who was looking for runaway Guardians. He quickly throws her into a deadly fall but, she manages to use her new mysticker at the last time. What happened and what that mysticker does, I have no idea.

Meanwhile, Tenjik and Yukuka are fighting the woman from Quilin Realm. Tenjik is avoiding the fight because of the girl’s hotness lol So, Yukuka fights alone.

Yukuka manages well but, Quilin’s blazer uses a rare mysticker that transforms her and giver power. When she gets to the final stage, Yukuka can’t fight her anymore and, as the final stage transforms her into a monster, Tenjik begins fighting now that she doesn’t look like a woman anymore.

The third stage really looked like the Nibi from Naruto fused with Shukaku lol Anyway, I really like this author’s art when it comes to monsters. He’s kind of original and always makes some prety crazy creatures with holes showing the inside of their mouths and stuff like that lol

Tenjik defeats her quickly without much effort.

The fight was average, the fight I really wanna see is the one between Kuroki and Shuga.

Also, this manga continues having the characters explain all little details in a forced way that just pisses me off lol

And Kishimoto continues showing us how much he likes asymmetrical fashion with the latest female villain lol

Kaine arrives at Tenjik’s place and has no problem in quickly reaching them. Daichi convinces the others to go help HQ while he takes on Kaine alone. Can Daichi really defeat him? Even if he’s gotten better, he still doesn’t have Tamamayu.. And Kaine, although he doesn’t seem as experienced as Kuroki and the other Qilin member, is really strong.

The female Blazer from Qilin Realm intercepts them. Tenjik and Yuyuka stay to fight her while Misora moves forward.

Also, the three guys from Qilin Realm start the attack on the 3rd Division’s HQ.

They use some sort of bug mysticker to put the division in chaos and then they break in.

The Black Kakutan Blazer comes to Kuroki. It’s time to finish their fight.

Misora is sent back to bring Tamamayu to Daichi.

I don’t think the main characters will have much trouble for now. The current battles seem well matched and there’s always the possibility that reinforcements from other divisions come.

This chapter was mainly about setting up the main fights. My guess is that Daichi’s fight will be the main focus for now.

I hope this fighting arc reaches my expectations. It’s the most important arc of the story until now.

The scenes where Misora, facing a real enemy, cowards up and then suddenly gets all courageous again without no actual "explanation"seemed kind of pointless to me.

Daichi and Misora have to kick the can while using a special mysticker to pass the raining.

Daichi and Misora must learn to control their spirit power, start and stop it.

Misora eventually manages to let her spirit power come out but, the way she won was really strange, not to say stupid. She appears with Tenjik knowing someone’s there but, just because it’s not Daichi, he gets surprised and lets her come and kick the can?

Anyway, Daichi managing to stop leaking his spirit power, takes the opportunity to get behind Tenjik and hits the can too.

Misora had it activated all the time but, I suppose she can stop it if she wants.

The Queen is trying to figure out if they are really going after them or after Daichi first. She has to know where to put her forces and worry about getting Daichi’s location exposed in case Qilin Realm doesn’t already know.

So, Qilin Realm is spying on the guardians and waiting outside. Are they like using this opportunity to take them all out? I don’t know the strength of most blazers present there now, including Qilin Realm, but I doubt they could do it with just 3 of them.

Meanwhile, Kaine goes to take care of Daichi.

Big battles are coming, can’t wait.
