Desirous Gaze

It seems the Organization has finally reached their ultimate goal of creating the perfect weapon that will help them win their war in their country. But, can they control Luciela/Rafaela?

For now, they turn into the lesser being that the merged awakened being has released. But, it seems they cease to function awhile after being born. Although they still live long enough to obliterate everything around them. Anyway, Raki, although penetrated by those things, is still alive, no sign of Priscilla. From the Organization, a recovery group controlled by Dae, captures him.

Meanwhile, Uma and Cynthia find Beth, she’s been penetrated but, considering her strength, her transformation goes beyond what happened before. I think a new super powerful awakened being has been created.

Also, Clare Deneve and Helen have finally defeated their opponents, they are completely exhausted and the merged being.. prepares for another round. More of those things will be released again.

I think the best would be to run. I don’t think there’s anyway right now to defeat the core. I would also like to know about Priscilla, maybe she will become their last hope to defeating all this. It’s been awhile and I don’t think we really know anymore where her strength lies. Maybe she has the potential, with some help, to defeat the merged being. As for Uma and Cynthia, I don’t think they will be able to survive and I have no idea what will happen to Raki, besides him somehow retaining his consciousness and acquiring some Claymore powers..

Awesome chapter, can’t wait for the next.

The "funny" looking projectiles turn into countless awakened beings.. and they are not easy to kill. They continue to "live" even after their head is removed. Clare and the others decide just chop them up as much as possible and even so, they may manage to attack.. Things look tough, just like when they battled in the North.

Meanwhile, Riful is escaping, bringing Dauf along with her but, the Abyss Feeders catch her. She kills the first round but, they quickly re-generate. Suddenly, she’s saved by non other than Alicia. Why has she killed the Abyss Feeders? Well, it looks like Beth wasn’t skilled enough to dodge the giant pillars. She’s out and Alicia can’t keep her consciousness anymore. Also, Beth is being infected from the pillar, what will come out of this?

It seems we are having more and more powerful monster being born. I was kind of disappointed with Alicia and Beth, I think this just means Alicia will become a normal awakened and Beth some fusion between an awakened and those things. I was hoping to see more of them, as their own selves, I really liked their personality and confidence.

Blades Of Purging

So, Alica and Beth go at it. Riful is taken by surprise and Duff is seriously wounded. At first, I was thinking those two warriors were really stupid to have Beth stay close to the battle, when she supposedly can’t move. Well, it seems she’s good enough to move, dodge Duff, and still suppress her sister’s youki at the same time.

Riful realizes by the situation that Isley is already dead. Anyway, there’s another problem, it seems Luciela and Rafaela are gone for good and the new awakened being nothing more than an animal bent on destruction. She uses a strong attack that ends up hurting Riful a lot. I think Riful is out of the equation for now, and Alicia is probably going to target the two other sisters. I mean, they may be the stronger being around, everyone should join against her. Not sure how Priscila’s strength stands in all of this, she may be the strongest but, the new being is the result of two really powerful warriors fused..

Anyway, the awakened being attack is not over. The "sticks" she sent are turning into some sort of creatures.

Awesome chapter, and right now, everyone has been thrown together, even Priscila and Raki will have to intervene too. I guess the abyss feeders should take care of Riful and Alicia and Beth will take the fused sisters. Not sure what Priscila will do, I don’t think Raki alone has strength to fight whatever those sticks are turning into.

Also, not sure why Clare nows so much about Alicia and Beth and what was so important that one of the sisters tried to tell her before being consumed.

Disciple Of Demise

The new "monster" awakens. Funny how Priscilla being the farthest away (I think) is the one who better feels the monster. At least she describes it as something out of this world, like it’s the most powerful being in existence, at least that’s what I take from her speech. And then, Rifl, standing so close, is still excited about it..

Anyway, the black warriors stop caring for their hidden Youki, they need to act fast. Denev and Helen go to try and rescue Clare. Clare is alright for now, contemplating the new being like everybody else. It looks really similar to the "twins" statue to which Clare and Teresa once talked about (actually beautiful, seems more like an angel than an awakened being), not sure what it means now anymore (can’t remember lol if someone does.. fill me in lol)

Anyway, Rifl understands the twins’ powers and decides to leave, it would be too dangerous to fight it, and she would probably lose. Not sure why she’s still smiling and all.. she has just made a really dangerous enemy for everyone, herself included. As she’s about to leave, the Abyss Feeders appear. She and her husband don’t think much of them at first but, they quickly understand how dangerous they are. To worsen things, the organization’s number 1 and 2 appear! lol Rifl is really.. the only way she has to escape is if the twins somehow interfere in their fight.

Cool chapter, awesome ending. Can’t wait to see more of number 1 and 2, I really liked the short glimpse at their personally a few chapters back.

Soul Seal

Claire is drawn into the fused sisters consciousness. Rafaela’s consciousness, born from Clare’s intervention, I think lol, explains to Clare how she’s awakening. She would eventually have faded away completely but, the first Claymore’s intervention stirred it a little. And now Clare has given it the final push it needed. The new being is going to awaken, ironically because of Clare.

Anyway, Clare defeats Rafaela. Not sure why, wouldn’t Rafaela disappear anyway when the new being awakens completely? Maybe Clare defeated her so she could get past her and deeper into the new being’s consciousness, so she can maybe stop it. But, I doubt it, it’s awakening has almost already been given as a certainty.

Everyone everywhere feels it, Priscilla comments on how vast it is, this one will probably form the 3 most powerful beings along with Priscilla and Alicia/Beth. Maybe more characters will come because of this. Anyway, Alicia and Beth, after noticing it, confidently report to the organization that they will take care of this new "thing" too. Not sure if Riful should really be happy about this, I’m guessing the new being or either Alicia/Beth will kill her without much hardship.

It’s the first time we see them talk. I was surprised, I was expecting their personality to be much like a slave/doll, just following orders. But, their cockiness made me like them. They could become very interesting characters, besides the fact that they are strong. And also, anyone else thinks they are the hottest Claymore’s ever? lol

Stirrings Of Awakening

Clare fallows Dauf into Riful’s hideout. Dauf starts attacking her in his awakened form inside the castle. This makes Riful intervene and come outside looking for Clare. Inside, Renee takes this chance and uses the masking medication she had been hiding.

Renee actually manages to get away from Dauf. Now Riful, absolutely sick of all this, goes chase Renee herself. This time, she’s going to kill without hesitation. She’ll probably kill Clare instantly too if she finds her.

Meanwhile, Clare starts having some strange headache that impels her to move somewhere. She ends up face to face with the sisters. They had already given some signs of life before. Even though their consciousness should only be starting to stir, it they can already contact Clare in some way.

Clare has always had some skill in youki control, maybe she’ll be the one that ends up waking them up, even though she doesn’t want to. There’s also that fact that Clare is merged with Teresa to acertain degree, just like Luciella and Rafaella are to each other.

Another problem now is that Clare has drifted off from her objective and Renee is alone for now. She can’t possibly survive Riful. A fight will probably emerge between Renee, Alicia, Beth and Riful. Even though they don’t really stand a chance, that fight will probably be interrupted by Rafaella’s awakening. Riful will be forced to fight her and I’m pretty sure Rafaella is going to be really powerful and Riful will have to try and kill her.

Awesome chapter, things are being set nicely. Can’t wait to read the next one.

A World Without Order

Miria and Tabatha sense Alicia and Beth. Galatea appears too. She has sense it too, more, she has sensed that Easly could have died and that a concealed Claymore is coming to their town.

Having the heads up from Galatea, Miria moves in instantly to the concealed Claymore. But, it’s Dietrich relaying a message from Helen and Denev. They now confirm Easley’s situation. It’s not hard to figure out now that the organization may be moving in on the other abyssal ones and that the number 1 and 2 are going for Riful.

Meanwhile, Clare is also near Riful. Duff notices her group and a quick battle emerges. Clare can’t do much even now against him, they manage to retreat.

I wasn’t expecting Claire to be so weak against Duff. She even seemed more powerless to defeat him than before. But, I guess Duff has also become stronger over time like everyone and that Claire was trying to avoid the fight and not really beat him.

Clare then decides to go follow Duff and try to meet Rafaela. It seems everything is going to collide in the next chapters. Can’t wait.

Impossible Dream

New facts about the Abyss Feeders are told. They are made to retreat if 6 or more are defeated. It’s almost impossible to catch them once they retreat, because they all go in separate directions and don’t release any Yoki. Also, the surviving ones synchronize their minds with the new created ones, sharing their experience. This means, that no matter how many times they are defeated, they will always come back stronger.

And it seems Easley already fought with them several times and was already wounded. Easley almost manages to survive but, this time he falls. I was surprised to see Easley being defeated right now. I though it would take some more time before things started moving for real.

Before he dies, Easley shows his true intents of leading a more normal life. It seems he truly has been forgetting about his plans to conquer everything while witnessing Priscilla and Raki’s relation. He wanted to be able to live in "family" with them.

Helen, Denev and Dietrich realize that the organization may already be on the move with another group of Abyss Feeders to destroy Riful.

The Organization is then shown. They really are sending the Abyss Feeders to Riful but, they are not intended to fight her. They are just intended to guide the number 1 and 2 to them.

Now that Easley is gone, the don’t intend to lose much time with the Abyss Feeders and just send Bess and Alicia to kill her right there. The next couple chapters will be interesting.

Overall, great chapter. I just got a little disappointed, because I wasn’t expecting Easley to be gone so unexpectedly.
