Stirrings Of Awakening

Clare fallows Dauf into Riful’s hideout. Dauf starts attacking her in his awakened form inside the castle. This makes Riful intervene and come outside looking for Clare. Inside, Renee takes this chance and uses the masking medication she had been hiding.

Renee actually manages to get away from Dauf. Now Riful, absolutely sick of all this, goes chase Renee herself. This time, she’s going to kill without hesitation. She’ll probably kill Clare instantly too if she finds her.

Meanwhile, Clare starts having some strange headache that impels her to move somewhere. She ends up face to face with the sisters. They had already given some signs of life before. Even though their consciousness should only be starting to stir, it they can already contact Clare in some way.

Clare has always had some skill in youki control, maybe she’ll be the one that ends up waking them up, even though she doesn’t want to. There’s also that fact that Clare is merged with Teresa to acertain degree, just like Luciella and Rafaella are to each other.

Another problem now is that Clare has drifted off from her objective and Renee is alone for now. She can’t possibly survive Riful. A fight will probably emerge between Renee, Alicia, Beth and Riful. Even though they don’t really stand a chance, that fight will probably be interrupted by Rafaella’s awakening. Riful will be forced to fight her and I’m pretty sure Rafaella is going to be really powerful and Riful will have to try and kill her.

Awesome chapter, things are being set nicely. Can’t wait to read the next one.

A World Without Order

Miria and Tabatha sense Alicia and Beth. Galatea appears too. She has sense it too, more, she has sensed that Easly could have died and that a concealed Claymore is coming to their town.

Having the heads up from Galatea, Miria moves in instantly to the concealed Claymore. But, it’s Dietrich relaying a message from Helen and Denev. They now confirm Easley’s situation. It’s not hard to figure out now that the organization may be moving in on the other abyssal ones and that the number 1 and 2 are going for Riful.

Meanwhile, Clare is also near Riful. Duff notices her group and a quick battle emerges. Clare can’t do much even now against him, they manage to retreat.

I wasn’t expecting Claire to be so weak against Duff. She even seemed more powerless to defeat him than before. But, I guess Duff has also become stronger over time like everyone and that Claire was trying to avoid the fight and not really beat him.

Clare then decides to go follow Duff and try to meet Rafaela. It seems everything is going to collide in the next chapters. Can’t wait.

Impossible Dream

New facts about the Abyss Feeders are told. They are made to retreat if 6 or more are defeated. It’s almost impossible to catch them once they retreat, because they all go in separate directions and don’t release any Yoki. Also, the surviving ones synchronize their minds with the new created ones, sharing their experience. This means, that no matter how many times they are defeated, they will always come back stronger.

And it seems Easley already fought with them several times and was already wounded. Easley almost manages to survive but, this time he falls. I was surprised to see Easley being defeated right now. I though it would take some more time before things started moving for real.

Before he dies, Easley shows his true intents of leading a more normal life. It seems he truly has been forgetting about his plans to conquer everything while witnessing Priscilla and Raki’s relation. He wanted to be able to live in "family" with them.

Helen, Denev and Dietrich realize that the organization may already be on the move with another group of Abyss Feeders to destroy Riful.

The Organization is then shown. They really are sending the Abyss Feeders to Riful but, they are not intended to fight her. They are just intended to guide the number 1 and 2 to them.

Now that Easley is gone, the don’t intend to lose much time with the Abyss Feeders and just send Bess and Alicia to kill her right there. The next couple chapters will be interesting.

Overall, great chapter. I just got a little disappointed, because I wasn’t expecting Easley to be gone so unexpectedly.

Blind Hunters

The demons interrupt Easley, Deneve and Helen’s battle. This could be the chance they needed to run away from Easley.

The demons are really strong, they’re like super claymores able to awaken any part of their body. Deneve and Helen are almost finished but, the Claymore from before comes to help. It seems they just need to stay quite and still and they won’t turn on them.

Meanwhile, Easley doesn’t seem very concerned, I wasn’t expecting him to be anyway, he’s on a different level. So, he quickly takes 3 of the demons out but.. they just regenerate no matter how much of their body was destroyed, it also doesn’t seem like wounds even affect them or give them pain.

The 3 girls take the chance to run and the claymore from before (really can’t remember her name lol) explains all she knows. Those strange claymores are weapon from the Organization, specifically made to fight the abyssal ones.

They are called Abyss Feeders and they are basically claymore created not with yoma’s flesh but, with awakened flesh. The warriors lose all humanity. The Organization, in order to control them, they took all their senses away, and trained them to follow only one scent, one peace of meat, Easley’s body.

They manage to take one of Eassley’s arms off. Can they pull it off? Easley has managed to take out the head of any of them, maybe they have a chance but, who will kill the feeders then? lol

The art was amazing as always, I think this is the first time I really took a close look at Easley’s awakened form.. it’s cool lol

Return Of The Exterminators

Helen keeps fighting alone. As Helen accepts her defeat and prepares to receive a final blow, Denev saves her and brings her away, she was still alive after all. The only way to leave is if one of them stays and fights. So, they both decide to fight and go out in glory. I’m still not sure if this man is really Isley.

The demons finally appear. I was thinking it was stupid to call one of them a demon. After all, he shouldn’t more vicious than any normal yoma. But, now that we can see them, I’ve no idea what they are. They seems like an army of tortured zombie claymores. Maybe they are some experiment from the organization but, they wouldn’t probably be destroying cities if that were the case. They also don’t seem to attack claymores.

I’m not sure if they are invading the city where Helen and Denev are fighting, maybe they will kind of save them.

The Touch’s Sin

They ask the warrior to not tell the Organization about them but, she says she can’t lie and will tell them if they ask. I kind of like this new character, she looks strange and you can’t really understand her motives.

They decide to just let her go anyway but, she ends up following them. And asks to stays with them.

Anyway, there’s been some really bad rumors about stuff happening to southern villages like demons and villages disappearing. They end up reaching a town with an abnormal yoki.

Denev and Uma figure it’s probably from Isley and sturdily decide to go take a look.. lol

They end up being found one gets seriously hurt. Also, the new warrior meets the supposed "demon" in the forest.

This chapter was kind of confusing like some pages were missing. Anyway, what matters now, is that guy really Isley? He looks similar but, I don’t see him just acting like that. And why would the story hint to a "demon"? The demons should just be very strong awakened.

No matter, it seems like the "demon" is moving to the village. Maybe the new warrior can stay hidden and just follow him. Things are kind of confusing right now. The next chapter should make more sense.

A Cause Worth Fighting For

Clare decides to just continue on their journey. They don’t know where the abyssal one is anyway. If by chance they find any clues about it, they’ll decide what to do then.

Meanwhile, Denev and Uma are watching some claymore’s fighting an awakened. There’s only one single digit and she doesn’t seem capable of killing it alone. The other warriors end up getting unconscious.

Uma breaks Miria’s orders and decides to go rescue them. They butt in the fight and try to put the single digit unconscious like the other times. But this one is strong and escapes.

She quickly understands that they are not enemies and were only trying to not be seen. So, she kind of tells them that she won’t talk about it and the 3 of them go to take the awakened.

After a not very complicated fight, they win. Deitrich seems like a very moral claymore. I think she’ll become very important in the future.

The Bewitching Ambassador

So, Clare meets her old agent. The organization already suspects that some Claymores from the Northern war have survived. Right now they are worried about Renee who was taken by Riful, although they don’t know what she wants with Renee.

Meanwhile, Renee negotiates a way to get her legs back. She starts trying to hack into the claymore sisters. She discovers a frail "light" inside the sisters. She’s even scared of destroying just by touching it but, when she touches it, the power she felt crushed her presence there.

She knows that if she unleashes "that", Riful’s husband and herself will instantly die. Only Riful would remain, would be stronger? She doesn’t know.

So, her only chance of survival, as tiny as it may be, is to run now.

Clare learns more from her past "friend". It seems he was the informant who told Miria about the war and all that stuff. And the reason for that, he’s a spy from the other side of the battle in the mainland. He has infiltrated the Organization for the purpose of destroying them and stop their research to create strong beings for the war.

So, he’s not against them, because they helping in bringing the organization down too.

They have means to destroy the Organization but, they would just appear again and harder to find or infiltrate. So, they will be waiting until they are in a real bad situation, in way that the Organization itself would decide to shut down.

But, still, he’s afraid that the Organization finds out about their partially awakened state. So, he’s giving them information about Riful in the hopes that they die while trying stop her.
