A Decision Worth Making

It’s over. The chapter talks a lot about mankind being toyed with and how everyone can see the destruction this time. Does this mean that it’s time for mankind to fight back? I think there will probably be some new major developments in the "real" world, outside of Gantz and it’s hunters, can’t wait.

Everyone comes back to the room. They all survived. Dispite all that happened, their team had one of the best results yet. Too bad for the Osaka team and the girl..

So, the points begin. This arc has lasted so long that I didn’t even remember this things anymore. So, the only ones that get points are the ones who actualy killed something. The boy, the Panda, "Muscle Rider", the Vamp and the shady guy. I thought the vamp should have had more. It was all thanks to him at some points.

But, the really important thing was Kantou. Being the one who finished the 100 pointer.. well, he got the 100 points. Nobody really forces him to revive Kurono but, he has promised and throws a normal life away for Kurono’s life. And so, Kurono comes back.

Now, I really think the story has gone from a way bad situation to a really good one. The next encounters are probably going to be harder but, they have got lots of fighters now and all of them with enough experience so that they could get to the 100 pointer better.

It was really good seeing Kurono appear. I can’t wait to see how he will react. I think there’s a huge plot twist about to happen. I hope the next chapter is about them discussing everything they know and make some sense out of all this.

Once In A Lifetime Rush!

The vampire comes to help in a crucial time. Still, even after he’s been separated in two, Nurari continues to attack. The vamp dodges the lazers while the Gantz hunters continue firing.

Kantou ends up completely destroying him with a super weapon that he picked from the ground.

It’s over this time, they start being sent back. The Osaka girls are still alive and they are carrying the perverted guy. Although he’s insane, he’s strong so, it’s important to have him alive, knowing that from now on it’s probably going to be worst.

I hope Yamasaki gets revived soon. She was really making Kantou’s development much more interesting.

I’m very curious for the next chapter, about the scores and stuff. I also wan’t to see if they are going to get some kind of explanation.

The Marksman

Everyone starts shooting Naruri. Hope has risen again and everyone starts feeling a little more confident.

Naruri understands what’s happening but, he can’t find the shooter’s whereabouts and starts firing lazers all over place. The city starts blowing up and Kaito is hit while he’s running away. Both of his legs are taken out.

I wouldn’t have guessed Kaito would be out of action so soon, him being the most important character in this situation. Still, Kaito tries to reach to one of the more powerful weapons laying around. One shot of this will surely do great damage and this is the last chance they will get. I’m not sure why but, Kaito can’t fire right away, probably because os his lack of strength right now he can’t aim properly or force his finger to pull the trigger. In the middle of this, Nurari noticies him but, the girl comes back and stands in the way to protect Kaitou. Nurari fires against her, ripping her in half.

I though this time Kaitou’s feelings would help him finish the job but, suddenly, Nurari gets cut in half. For a moment, I though Oka or something was back. It was the vampire. I’m glad they took this chance to kill him, although he probably doesn’t care for Gantz team members.

The preview talks about the great climax. Are the vampires going to explain their part in the story and why all of this is happening? I’m guessing some decent explanations will be given for the first time.. I hope at least.

Questioning The Questioner

The girl remembers him of his brother and gives him a new reason to want to live. His resolve to survive is stronger now.

Kaitou picks up one of the more powerful weapons. I don’t think that will really make a difference but, it’s better than nothing.

Suddenly the city starts shaking and falling apart. Nurari went to find Oka. Oka is probably fighting him for his life or running away. If he’s so sharp that he can find a person easelt like that, won’t the snipers be in trouble? I mean, Oka was probably well hidden.

Nurari appears again before Kaitou at the speed of light. He’s holding part of a dead Oka. The strongest man has fallen. I really don’t think Kurono would be of much help in this situation.

Kaitou prays that everyone is already in position and ready to take the shot. Nurari points a finger at his forehead. Does this mean he’s just going to kill him instantly as a mere fly?

Kaitou really feels like he has no time left so, he starts talking. That was really unexpected but, smart. Not only he can manage to save time but also, maybe will know some answers to this Gantz mess.

He asks him why are they forced to hunt him and try to kill him. He says he doesn’t want it, as none of the others do.

Nurari is kind of enigmatic. He talks about God. That they should consider this an act of such. That trying to change it is futile and it probably doesn’t make a difference to know, I think. It seems like he’s going to kill him now but, one of the snipers strike and his arm explodes. Is it going to work if they all attack now and destroy is body completely?

I’m not sure but, what Nurari said kind of reminded me of Alien Vs Predator. How the Predators used the Alien as a sport. I think this situation might be something like that.

Regaining A Plan

Nurari has transformed again. This one seems even more powerful, the look is also more cool and less gross. Kaze doesn’t have time to think, he faces Nurari again. The other go behind him to back him up.

Kaze hits him but, he’s not affected. Nurari then gives to blows to Kaze, he didn’t even see them. He tries to get u again but, his suit is done. Liquid starts coming out and Kaze collapses.

Nurari tells him to stay put and goes away. Where did he go? Is he looking for Oka or another strong opponent? I doubt there are more Gantz teams in this mission.

Now that Nurari left, their first though is to run and hide. But, Kaitou convinces them to stay and fight. If they just run and let time run out, what difference will it make? The alien will still be out and destroying. Also, the injured Gantz members don’t have much time left.

They all decide to snipe Nurari from a distance. Kaitou has to stay back so that he can attract Nurari. After everyone has left, the girl from Osaka’s team comes back and confesses her love to Kaitou, she begs him to stay alive.

I don’t think they strategy will work, it just seems to simple. Nurari has become so strong that maybe he can take the gun’s bullets. He may also notice it before they even attack. It also seems he can move at great speeds, he would have no problem finding the snipers.

I’m really curious to see how everything will play out.

Melee Rush

Gantz returns with the more provocative covers.

Kaze crushed Nurari’s head. Every body recognizes Kaze as a really strong guy. But, is Nurari finally dead? Doesn’t seem like it.

Nurari comes back and transforms again. This time, his body is like a mess made of various bodies. He then grows arms and legs instantly wherever he wants to attack.

Kaze is doing good and Nurari multiplies more and more until his body completely surrounds Kaze. With Takeshi on his mind, Kaze finds the strength to push Nurari away.

As all the body parts start flying, the rest of the team intervenes and starts shooting them down.

But, Nurari rises again. This time his shape is more like a demon. He’s getting stronger every time. Can they still beat him? Their hope is getting low. How can you get motivation to beat something, if it keeps coming back? Is there a limit to Nurari?

I wonder what Kurono would do in this situation.

Roars Of Terror

About Kaze. I really liked him before. A strong guy who didn’t care much for others but, still had some kind of moral code. I was just a little angry at him for not taking sides and doing nothing on some parts of the story. But, overall, he was the guy you could count on to kick some serious ass, even without the suit.

Then, Takshi came and he got all soft and more worried about life, because he had to be there for Takeshi. I think his and Takeshi’s story was cool but, it killed him as a character. He’s been doing nothing for a long time. He was the kind of guy I would expect to be on the other team, fearless and hungry for battle.

Well, he’s finally going to battle again. Not for the same reasons but, because if they don’t kill the alien and return to Gantz, Takeshi and the others won’t survive.

He approches Nurari and tries to shake off his fear. Nurari pisses him off and he starts attacking. Nurari is like laughing, I think, and purposedly letting himself get hit. It’s like Kaze’s attacks don’t do a thing.

Nurari gets serious and starts defending the attacks. Nurari then strikes himself, he’s probably really confident of himself, he just wants to fight Oka again. But then, Kaze dodges, surprising him, and gives a very powerful punch that destroys Nurari’s head.

So, Kaze shows his skill once again. It didn’t seem like much in the beginning, because he had no confidence but, if we remember how he was like in the past, I think there’s a chance he will win. Just remember how he took all those gun shots and still went forward to beat Izumi, now that was cool lol.

Tag Out

Nurari seems to be winning and Oka’s suit suddenly lets out a lot of "dust". Nurari continues beating him and destroys the suit in two. But, it seems Oka had gotten out of the suit previously and he pierces him from behind and cuts him in two.

It seems like there was some kind of secret behind Nurari’s attacks that Oka only now understands. He was lucky to beat him using the surprise element. He’s no match for him anymore without his suit. He states he’s not dead yet and that he’s going to tag out.

Kantou decides to try to finish him himself. But, some kind of core comes out of Nurari’s body and starts firing little balls. Everybody tries to dogde, I think, but, Takeshi, (I think that was hi name), gets hit.

Is Nurari going to come back to life? It seems like that was just a final suicide attack but, I highly doubt it. I don’t think they have any chance at all of winning this. They are probably going to run and hide until it’s over or another outside interference is going to help them.

Skill Gap

Sorry, I completely forgot to blog this chapter lol.

Nurari seems to be transforming again, but Oka takes him out immediately. He uses some kind of energy blasts that come from the openings in his suit’s hands. Do the other normal suits also have this ability?

But, it’s not over.

From one pf the scattered body parts, Nurari’s real body comes out. Oka starts attacking, but Nurari dodges everything. He’s not even worried, more curious about Oka’s abilities.

He starts changing his boy to a shape similar to Oka’s suit. Then, he starts fighting back, also imitating Oka’s style. He hits Oka and destroys his mask.

It doesn’t seem like the current Oka can do anything. Maybe he still has some kind of weapon or hidden skill. We hope. 

Ping Pong

So, how strong is this Oka? Everybody runs aways from the alien and he and Oka stand face to face. If Oka loses, there’s no hope left for them. Even if they survive, they won’t be able to face any future and stronger aliens.

Oka has already cleared 7 times. The special suit is probably the result of always asking for better equipment.

He moves forward and the alien attacks. Everything is destroyed around Oka, even the other faraway hunters take the shockwave. But, Oka is okay. He makes fun of the alien’s attack and prepares to fight.

The alien does another of his strange attacks, but Oka is unaffected and starts beating him down. Every single hit does major damage and the blades in Oka’s arms finish the job in just some seconds. He states he was a ping pong player and that he’s receiving Karate classes.. through the internet.

From his jokes, I think Oka will probably look really week in person or at least more intellectual than you would judge by his Hunter presentation.

But it seems the alien is not finished and it’s going to transform again or show some new powers in the next chapter. Personaly, I’m not worried and I think Oka won’0t have much trouble dealing with him.
